Tonight's Football

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Don't think RVP needs much goading.....
Granted. Gerrard is doing his utmost to push him over the edge though. Oh, he's a cnut too.

allegedly, gerrard has told suarez that he is too big for arsenal, but that, if he likes, he can leave for madrid at the end of the season if liverpool don't make the chumps league...

cos - like - it's gerrard's place to do that!!

meanwhile..
Water being pumped on to the Anfield turf, only over the half of the pitch that Liverpool will be attacking in the second half. Home advantage.

Engerland!

should do moldova tonight. Ukraine on tuesday will be hard though, but a win will put us in the driving seat methinks

We should do Moldova, whether we do do is more open to question.

Most interesting fixture tonight looks like Kazakhstan v Faroe Isles - I'll go for 11-7 as the final score.
That's not a leopard!

Ricky Lambert to start with Walcott and Welbeck up top. Wilshere to get a rare start aswell. Usually injured.

What the feck is the deal with Sturridge. Would be playing almost every game but is always injured with England!

tbf i'm happy he isn't playing in this one - from what i've read/remembered he should be ok for ukraine, so no point risking him tonight imho. Been great so far this season

You can only play what's in front of you. Solid enough display, three goals, a cracking display from Jack Wishire and a Beckenbaur one from our Gary. Ref's yellow for Welbeck absostutely ducking fiodolical. He's now out after the stupid one given against him last game. Neither deserved and some appeals needed. Video will surely show both as really unfair.

ITV can f*ck off though. Andy Townsend is a know-nowt, and Clive Tyldesley has just described Danny Welbeck (Danny Welbeck ffs) being out of a qualifying match against Ukraine as if it were Gazza in 1990. 'Heartbreak'? Do cock-off.

They do my tits in with the constant smirking condecension of who we are playing. Towensend with his 'they aren't going to win but they should at least come out and try to play 'the right way'', and Tyldseley with his constant 'Player X from Moldova moved to the Uzbeki thrid divsion this summer, but I bet you didn;t hear about that transfer har har'.

C*nts, the pair of them.

Chuffed for Lambert though, proper striker's goal, and a great ball for Welbeck.

Agree some shxt is talked at times, but who have we got as good as Welbeck as a striker right now? Rooney might be out a while, Sturridge and Oxlade Chamberlain are both pretty useful, Lambert's had a decent start and Barkley looks like he might do well, but Welbeck is our best striker by a mile for me.

There is a joke in there somewhere, if Welbeck is our best striker....

I dunno.
