And who is martin howell and why should we believe him?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Holy crap!
PG did seem to be talking more freely than normal on Talk Sport. The Hamann thing was one thing, but I was more shocked that he just buys whoever the manager tells him to. At least the statue got put up just in time, if true.

The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.
Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
no reason at all why we should believe him - i just thought this was the place to sign rumours about transfers - and thought it was reasonable enough to extend that to include key staff movements...Lord Kangana wrote:And who is martin howell and why should we believe him?
we could wait until everything was announced/confirmed by the club - but where would be the speculative fun in that??
(the manning that he tweets to used to be on this forum before getting banned...)

I don't believe him. Sunday afternoons can be quite boring.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Not calling you into question for posting, Bish but why would there be an emergency board meeting other than to release funds? I can't see DF being sacked considering that it took over 18 months for us to give Coyle the elbow.thebish wrote:meanwhile...

@19manning83 @MissBWFC both Gartside and Freedman will be looking for new jobs after the emergency board meeting this afternoon
If we got rid of Gartside would that mean more money for players? Who would be chairman then?
Pfffft.
Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
dunno - there could be any number of reasons for an emergency board meeting - if, indeed, there is one!TKIZ! wrote:Not calling you into question for posting, Bish but why would there be an emergency board meeting other than to release funds? it might be 1+1=9 it might simply be that Garty is fed up of the abuse he gets on twitter - so has done the obvious and sensible thing - and closed it...

Calmo bish, I was merely trying to ascertain the trustworthyness of the source. I know who Chri Manning is aswell. I must admit I'd be f*cking flabbergasted if Uncle Ted did that, he seems a fairly patient man. On the other hand, I'm sure he's also privately sick to the back teeth of hearing chairman and manager making promises they can't keep.

Garty's 61.
Having a twitter account at that age is the equivalent of him doing wheelies on a Raleigh Chopper on his driveway to impress the kids.

They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.
Poor man last, rich man first.

or perhaps eddie has gone senile and is about to appoint himself player-manager and chairman all in one?Lord Kangana wrote:Calmo bish, I was merely trying to ascertain the trustworthyness of the source. Statistically I don't think he could do any worse.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Dawson unused sub again, West Brom bottom. Lugano on bench but presumably ahead of him in pecking order.
I genuinely think he'd be better off playing every week, even for a shit championship team!

Isn't it more likely that that is what the alleged emergency board meeting was all about? If indeed there was one!

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
What a confusing day. Who's doing all the sackings if there's no Garty and according to one source (I think you posted earlier) no Freedman.
I know you're "only" the messenger
