Mills is probably the most obvious.

If I had to hazard a guess I would say Eaves, Vela or Odelusi would be potential names to go out.
That wouldn't solve much at the club.
Indeed - If he's that pi%%ed, then you have to think it's at people who were actually playing yesterday. If we asssume that he isn't going to flirt any of his recent signees, then there's still seven to go at from the starting eleven yesterday.

Boggers - don't think there was much down to him
Mears
Wheater
Knight
Pratley - Probably not Pratley although his sending off was dumbass
Lee
N'gog

Perm any three from 5.
Mears - obvious choice with the recent Millwall links, Knight (again, wishful thinking perhaps) but struggling with a 3rd.

I don't think it will be three major players that go. I would argue that its likely to be one of the bigger earners going to hopefully fund an incoming player but I certainly wouldn't think three players would be going.

Hard to see Lee being the one making way but it wouldn't surprise me if there was outside interest. He must be earning a decent wedge and he seems less effective in this division than he did in the Prem.

For a chap (DF) who comes across as very thoughtful, it all seems a bit unhinged if true. I wouldn't rule out his recent signings and surely it could only be individuals who have underperformed agaian and again. Going through yesterdays team
boggers - not at fault for any of goals unless his talking /organising of the defence is suspect. df has said good things about him so would be surprised
mears - tough time against king who looked a quick lad. at same time has no-one in front of him, so has constant dilemma of pushing forward to support / getting caught out of position. only had 2 games on bounce -would seem harsh unless DF has big expectations
knight - scapegoat of the moment. 2nd goal was most obvious one to point in his direction, but even that was a 50/50 challenge as last man. df has made him captain so big about turn from DF
wheater - just seems to be generally struggling at moment - just been given new contract
baptiste - just don't think this guy is a full back, or certainly on with much natural instinct to get forward as well as defend. playing out of position albiet he is a recent signing as full back by DF so would be bizarre
pratley anonymous yesterday. clearly not a wide midfield player. Asked to play out of position. Missed last game. Again would be bizarre by DF
medo/ spearing - given my opinion on these earlier. both recent DF acquisitions. again would be major turnaround by DF
chungy. best game for a while yesterday. so unless DF isn't happy with his tracking back/ tackling would be a strange one
ngog. the eternal conundrum, summed up by his fantastic 60 yd run, couple of dummies to shoot but ending with a tame shot toward the goal rather than pass. again been talked up by DF and again hasn't been a regular starter recently
beckford. said after burnley game that he doesn't look he will do much other than look for the ball to be slid through. still looks the same. recent DF signing so ......

throw in the existing contracts etc. All seems a bit irrational to me

Get rid of one of Coyle's useless signings.

Like Beckford.

Wait.

I will be interested to see what happens after Dougie stamped his foot in the interview yesterday. As Worthy said, you' d think it'd be 3 of Saturday's players.

Maybe he's full of shit.

DF that is. :D

@reluctantnicko: @Samtheman687 No bust up. Very reasoned point. Some just can't learn this level or been around too long. Dougie a shrewd boy.
Definitely sounds like players Dougie would have liked to keep but they can't deal with this league.

Knight fits that bill in every way.

Going of what Nixon says then it sounds like its players new to this league and players who have been around a while.

Medo is new..

The likes of Ngog, Lee and Knight have not done well for us in this league and are more use to the premier league.

Time will tell I suppose.

I see something happening with perhaps N'Gog, Medo and Chungy.

Twitter is playing up and won't let me paste the full convo but does this part help?

Somebody said time to move on some bad apples? He replies with..

Well, again forgive me, but we've been trying to move players on all summer, and you know tomorrow is deadline day, its a pretty safe bet that there'll be some movement.

This convo is regarding DF's comments after the game that if certain players didn't want to play for the club, then they could go Monday morning. Total different kettle of fish from the usual players we have been trying to move out.

I'm just a bit concerned with Dougie's "moving on" policy. We can't exist in the big league by relying on new kids coming through every season or, if we do footballers will soon be retiring at twenty five. We need a solid team who know each other, play together and want to play for the team paying their wages insted of forever looking for the next gravy train. Quite how it's done I'm not sure, but we need to find out sharpish. We keep hearing players say they get on and the atmosphere's good, so where are the apples?

If there are any players in that squad that don't want to give 110% then they can feck off for me. If it meant we have to stay in this league for another few seasons then so be it. I'd rather have a team that wants to play for the badge week in week out. We will be better for it in the long run.

quite, thats why it all seems bizarre. unless (a) we pretty much give players away/ pay them up; or (b) have had buyers beating at the door and are now accepting, I just don't get it.

(a) seems a bit kamikaze financial wise. In terms of (b) n'gog to fulham is the only rumour that seems to have been around a while and falls in with the nickomeisters spin of where the axe is falling. how true the fulham rumour really is, who knows.

We still have to find clubs willing to take these players unless we're going to pay all their contracts up :conf:

Excuse me for pointing out the obvious, but what have any of those players (aside from another) got to do with our piss poor performances so far? If that's it, I'd be extremely disappointed.
I was just spit balling on who the players would be. N'Gog hasn't exactly set the world alight with his scoring antics. Alright Mills hasn't been culpable for any of the performances but our defence is shocking and needs looking at

If we're getting money for Ngog, Lee and Knight that we can strengthen with tomorrow I'd be happy.

Personally don't want to see Medo leave, I think he's the opposite of "can't learn this level".
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.
