Based on Nixon's tweets, it could be Knight, Chungy and Ngog who cant get a grip of what it takes to play in the Championship.

I can understand we having offers for Chungy and Ngog from the PL. We probably would accept less than we value them to send them away and off our wage bill. As for Knight, I cant see anyone making an offer for him in the PL so we would let him go as a free transfer to a team like Palace as exchange for their club captain.

They're neither abysmal or cowards, just not quite good or skilled enough. Knight tries to defend bravely enough but hasn't the nous to play out of trouble so he leathers it anywhere. He loses too many balls to attackers and is no natural athlete. Wheater has bags of guts and puts his head in and might shape better with a more talented partner. Together, they just don't cut it.
I was just paraphrasing the way it is being described by Bolton fans on twitter or whatever.

Certainly yesterday it was hard to defend either. Knigt entirely to blame for their second goal.
One of the most half hearted challenges you will ever see.

Wheater entirely to blame for their fourth goal.

The first they scored neither of our centre halves dressed themselves in glory both were poor for it!

One player, a leader at the back would make a massive difference. Seemingly our hands are tied in terms of bringing anyone in though.

NGog to Swansea is a Nixon story in the mirror.

Can understand why we'd sell. But as we aren't going to be able to use the cash not sure where it would get us?

He's far from our worst, but it goes back to the point I made a few weeks ago. We're going to have to cash in assets if we need to. So be it. Hopefully the money gets spent wisely.

If he goes. 24 hours to spend it? Not sure we would.

I think its a bit simple to think we'll wait for the money to hit our account before we spend. An IOU will do.

If we let Ngog go we will have a replacement lined up.

I'd rather hope the Manager had some ideas about who he'd want and the liklihood of getting them? Either that or it might free up wages for use in the loan window...

don't forget - and you lambasted the idea at the time - Freedman has a history of registering an interest in players and "throwing his hat in the ring" even when he has no cash at all... I'd be staggered if dougie and the club have not already got some quite strong steerage about players who could be snapped up fairly pronto should cash arrive from the sale of (say) Ngog...

Would it free up dosh for Dawson ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

If Ngog goes I think we will sign Becchio from Norwich. Asking 3 million. We will sign him on a season loan with a view to a permanent deal.
