Rear fog lights do my head in. Frontal ones aren't too bad.

Yeah rears. There was a spot of mist this morning which reduced visibility to about 99%. Ao obviously that meant the fogs went on. What really will make me angry is the fact they forget that they've put them on so I have to put up with the lights still being on for the next month and a half.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Got bumped into by a car this morning, the dozey driver was coming out of a side street focusing soley on the cars coming from his right as I crossed the road in front of him he decided to make his move and turn onto the main road still staring right a the traffic without actually looking straight ahead in the direction he was about to drive into. Dozey b*st*rd was n his phone and all luckily being the size I am I managed to stay on my feet because if it had of been an old person, child or your average size female they would have certainly been knocked over into the main road. Gave him a good mouth fall with a good few swear words chucked in and given he was driving a merc called him a posh c*nt and all. Personally I think anyone caught using their phone while in the car with the engine on should be given a 6 month ban their and then.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

People that are dozy enough to walk in front of my car as I'm about to pull out of a junction, rather than simply walk around the back. Grrrr, they make my piss boil.

May the bridges I burn light your way

Use of the phrase "In this day and age". I get my special piss-boiling pan out whenever I hear it.

I hope you're ok but why on earth would you walk in front of a car at a junction? Surely the thought crossed your mind that they might pull out if the road was clear?

As in this beauty (slightly paraphrased because I cannot retain that amount of information when the sentence starts with basically) that I've just been subjected to:
Boss "basically, what I want is a report regarding the efficiency and functionality of the database with reference to the data mining we have undertaken against our major contracts in the 2012-13 financial year, with an assessment of which features and reports we should retain unchanged, which we need to enhance and which we should strip out, with a cost-benefit analysis in terms of both actual profits, percentage of target margins, and projected efficiencies from the beginning of each quarter if the proposed changes had been made, basically."
Me "surely you mean thoroughly"
Boss "eh?"
Me "or even unqualifiedly?"

Inane crap!!! *splutter* I'll have you know that I'm garnering a fortune for my shareholders and the grand fromages on the board, and managing to eke a living out of it myself. If I did 'real' stuff, I'd starve. And anyway, I have a proprietal pride that my databasii are some of the best databasii in the world. I like databases. I even construct some for fun when I'm not at work.thebish wrote:i don't think anyone is pretending my job is a "real" one!Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Like yours? No infact he went on the attack first and called me an f**king c**t before I had even opened my mouth my approach would of been somewhat different had he of said sorry mate. The point is though I am a pedestrian I can do next to no damage to somebodies car whereas a driver to all intents and purposes he is driving a killing machine, cars are not made to kill people but they do a bliddy good job of killing 100s if not 1000s of people each year. Had he have not been on his phone I would have also gone with a different approach. I must also point out that I was once knocked by a car pulling out of a junction when I went behind because quite often when people stop their car they seem to reverse sometimes up to halve a metre when they start moving again, I don't know why this is the case but I can testify to say I have seen it happen. I must also point out that in the incident today another car was so tightly behind him that I would have to of gone round at least 2 cars across (I didn't see the distance between the second car and the third). Anyhow I believed at least up until today that your better of in front of a stationary car then behind it because common sense would say that a driver probably looks in the direction he is moving although in this blokes case he was looking right when moving forward out of the junction and turning left onto the road.89bwfc89 wrote:Dan, Dan, Dan.bwfcdan94 wrote:Got bumped into by a car this morning, the dozey driver was coming out of a side street focusing soley on the cars coming from his right as I crossed the road in front of him he decided to make his move and turn onto the main road still staring right a the traffic without actually looking straight ahead in the direction he was about to drive into. Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Pity you are not over here. You don't abuse the driver. You go down on the ground, scream in pain, hold your leg and neck, and then collect $100,000 off the (government run or private) insurance company. It doesn't matter if you were stupid enough to walk in front of a car driving out of a minor road and looking in the direction of traffic - because we have no fault insurance.bwfcdan94 wrote:No infact he went on the attack first and called me an f**king c**t before I had even opened my mouth my approach would of been somewhat different had he of said sorry mate. I'm totally confused. I assume these fog lights are on the vehicle in front of you. Don't they turn off when the vehicle switches off the engine? How could they stay on for six weeks? What am I missing? I feel your pain, CH, but it makes no sense to me.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:This is very true and very enraging. Very very very enraging.CrazyHorse wrote:Yeah rears. There is nothing wrong with looking into the direction of traffic but at least look straight ahead before you put your foot down on the accelerator.

Well, if he was on a cell phone and used his head for the accelerator you should definitely have reported him for dangerous driving.bwfcdan94 wrote:There is nothing wrong with looking into the direction of traffic but at least look straight ahead before you put your head down on the accelerator.
