Any doubts folk had about the qaulity of our squad only needed to look at some of the daft cash being spent. Young lad at Wigan with probably less than 50 gams under his belt goes for £13m. Joe Allen with 1 good Premier season went to Liverpool for similar last year. Other than Eagles who have we got that would fetch a decent amount?

I was crossing my fingers that some dope would give us £2m for Ngog so we could get 2 new centre backs on loan :(

I'm sure we've asked the Dawson question enough times to know where we stand. If we were that confident about getting him, would we have gone in for Peter Ramage?

We'd have to have a shire horse to put it on first. We're more of a pit pony these days.

Garvan has been left out of the Palace 25. I'm sure I remember us being linked.

It is only page 2. The Transfer Thread Fair Play rules clearly state that a stunning failure cannot be declared within the first three pages.

To be honest I'd be trying to move heaven and earth to come up with his wages if I were Dougie. He's not quite as good as Dawson, but he's certainly better than what we've got.
