Re: What are you watching tonight?
Was having this very conversation yesterday evening. How on earth has British comedy reverted to shitness of Terry & June proportions, churning out complete and utter wank such as Count Arthur Strong and Mrs Brown's Boys?bobo the clown wrote: It seems we are destined for a period of more shite British sitcoms, just as we got shut of that bllx "My Family" we get this and Count Arthur Smith.
Have series one and two of Green Wing on DVD btw. Ridiculous, brilliant and piss funny.

I think, with most sports, 15 minutes is enough to get the general gist of what's going on. I've just watched fifteen minutes of Aussie Rules whilst having a spot of lunch, and haven't got the faintest.
What a wonderfully mad sport!

Glad to see Ade Edmondson win Celebrity Masterchef, I don't think it was ever really in doubt, but doesn't he already have his own cookery programme? I'm sure I saw him on something cooking outdoors for a load of Morris Dancers or summat?!

Just getting ready to see if Fiona Fullerton has retained any of her one-time dazzling good looks. Strictly starts tonight...

That's the one. Cheers, Gunto. I've just remembered, he was down on the Fens cooking summat for people who, should anyone ever make a British version of Deliverance, well, these 4uckers will be in it.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Ade In BritainBruce Rioja wrote:Glad to see Ade Edmondson win Celebrity Masterchef, I don't think it was ever really in doubt, but doesn't he already have his own cookery programme? Has there been the annual dickhead setting off a rocket balloon bit yet? It's just oh so hilarious every year. It always looks like some weird jingoistic cult the last night of the proms.Bruce Rioja wrote:Last Night of the Proms. Not yet, but there are bearded twentysomethings wearing brown. That just has to be the fault of Mumford & Son, doesn't it?Beefheart wrote:Has there been the annual dickhead setting off a rocket balloon bit yet? It's just oh so hilarious every year. I just find it uncomfortable viewing. It's just seems like exploitation of the mentally unwell.Bruce Rioja wrote:X Factor - 4ucking nutter's round. There's this absolutely tuneless imbecile that's just turned up with a picture of his cat.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Nigel Kennedy's on now. This whole turning-up-in-a-Villa-shirt wasn't funny 30 years ago, so why does e think it might be now? Possibly, nay probably the finest violinist of several generations, but what wanker.Beefheart wrote:Has there been the annual dickhead setting off a rocket balloon bit yet?
