What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Dear Points of View,

What the 4ucking Dickens............
Has there been the annual dickhead setting off a rocket balloon bit yet? It's just oh so hilarious every year. It always looks like some weird jingoistic cult the last night of the proms.
Nigel Kennedy's on now. This whole turning-up-in-a-Villa-shirt wasn't funny 30 years ago, so why does e think it might be now? Possibly, nay probably the finest violinist of several generations, but what wanker.
I'm afraid that made me turn it over
My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!

You do have to wonder if he's entirely sane to be honest.

For my 1000th post I'll inform you all that I have just stumbled across a film called Sharknado. i get the whole'so shit it's funny thing very occasionally, but this? Jesus wept.

A freak tornado hits Los Angeles, causing man-eating sharks to be scooped up in water spouts and flooding the city with shark-infested seawater.

I don't know about anybody else, but I never seem to be able to predict what's coming. I was about to ask a couple of questions on bits of that episode but won't for fear they may be slight spoilers!

me neither - although I did guess what was coming next last night (I don't think this is a spoiler, sorry if it is) - hank's call with his missus kinda set the scene - i found myself thinking - ahh - after that kind of phone call, you know what's coming next - EXCEPT - now I don't know if that's coming next!! arghhhh!!! i have no idea how that scene is gonna play out now! 8)

three? if that's the case - then there's gonna be a couple more major twists and turns before its done... last night had the feeling of a rapid move towards the end-climax...

There's still that flash forward and what happened to the house to deal with.

I'm very much looking forward to, this evening (21:00 on BBC2), watching The Wipers Times.

over the last couple of days - have watched a drama from 4od called "Run" - four mini self-contained films that all interlink about the urban poor living in London - in various situations.. about to settle in the for the fourth which (from the previews at the end of the third) shows the links coming full circle back to the first film - most satisfactorily..

hopelessly dark and bleak - but ace if (like me) you like bleak stuff! thebish's September recommendation!

Yeh. Just watched that, marvellous program. Very witty and seriously bleak at the same time - very good acting.
One of my relatives died at the first battle of the Somme, July 1916, and he was in the Sherwoods, but I've just looked it up and he was in the 11th Foresters 70th div and the Wipers was produced by the 12th Foresters 24th div, so my relative had nothing to do with it, unfortunately.
That's not a leopard!

Really? It's still pretty unknown to a lot of the general public and will remain so unless it gets shown on ITV after Corrie.

This season has been nothing short of incredible.

On a similar note, a prequel has been confirmed, named "Better Call Saul" which obviously has the potential to be excellent.
