He did indeed, for at least part of the time.

How the fck does someone who owned that much end up broke ?

Amazing ... & you can't even feel sorry for the prick, can you !?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

In Daily Mailspeak he's broke. In the real world, fabulously wealthy people like that aren't actually broke (who on here has a 5 bedroom dwelling in the capital city and considers themselves penniless?). He has less than before probably, but then he had a whole lot further to fall.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Did he declare bankruptcy? Isn't there some way to declare bankruptcy when your outgoings exceed your income by a certain amount, but you retain most of your assets, and it's why so many rich people/businesses declare it? I'm not a lawyer, but I do remember one of my lawyer mates explaining something similar to me...
Without derailing the thread, you can go Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) which could exclude some of your assets...

Has the window slammed open yet? Or does it only slam where the Premiership is concerned and creak (like my knees) for the Football League?

Indeed it did... but it looks like we've been assigned a basement window around the back of the building by the Window Opening & Closing Oversight Committee.
