Are we talking people or music? One of my lifetime likes was big band leader Stan Kenton. I found out not long back that he supposedly sexually abused his own daughter in a book she wrote. Now he died back in 1979 so what can be proved is all up in the air. Point is, do I start hating the man or just remember the pleasure his music gave? I think it best to do the latter rather than start passing judgement on people we don't even know.

That the prick boasts he has bought a Rod Stewart album, ( and it's not even 1974); and then states he has deleted his ' sacred in the 80's' Fall albums, demonstrates that A. He is a prick. B. He doesn't realise The Fall are as relevant today as ever, as their latest album shows, thus displaying an utter contempt for that popliar indie stuff and the genius which is Mark E Smith. My first reaction was "who", then I looked 'em up :-) Heard a few by them, much rather listen to Motorhead thanks, but I wouldn't claim Motorhead "changed a generation", although they probably influenced a few of a generation and bypassed most of a generation by, rather like the Sex Pistols. Similarly, I'm sure that can be said of many, many bands.
I like Motorhead too, can remember this being odd amongst my peers at the time, liking The Sex Pistols etc and Motorhead etc didn't feel right with some of them :)
My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!
