Positives From Today

Post by Nottingham_Blancs » Sat Sep 14, 2013 9:41 pm

I know it is hard to find any, but ...... Positives From Today

1) Shirt sleeve weather and a warm sun for the East Stand Lower

2) Ream was good in a Campo'esque role.

3) Half Time Golden Gamble ...Frankie Worthington

4) Derby scored too many goals (away), so by law of averages can't score on Tuesday

Sad Eh !!
Allez Les Blancs .... Phil

Ream was very good today. Very calm and precise on the ball and with his passing.

Am I imagining it or has he put some timber on this season?

Scooping dog poop on the field near me was a more positive experience than the poop witnessed at the Reebok.

The Knightmare is now over. Extended run in the reserves for that lad.

Wheaty and Milly the new barnstorming no-nonsense bus-parking ubermen.

Hall and Moritz our string-pulling virtuosos.

Any old fecker knocking them in at the other end.

Oh sorry, I dreamed all that. Grud on a bike it could be a long season. Thought we'd ditched all that when the Saint got his marching orders.

At least we're not bottom. That has to be a positive.

Are we not? I've not dared look at the table yet this season.

No ... we leapt place by dint of Millwall letting in more than we did.

We're on the rise.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Highlight of the day indeed. :)

Closely followed by having to work until about 50 mins before kick-off.

The the football in 3rd place.

Without being there I'd say this must be a positive... or just that he's prepared to try different personnel in defence what with dropping Wheater too.

I think the Ream and Mills combo after knight went off looked better, almost good.
DF hopefully will go with this on tuesday or Wheater/Ream.

Although Ream seems to thrive off playing in front of the back 4 so maybe Wheater/Mills with Ream in front of them? (as long as DF shoots knight in the skull I'm not fussed)

He did that to change to 4-4-2, Ream just dropped back into defence. At least he took Knight off instead of Mills, shows he's not totally above bulletproof.

Mills was shoite yesterday too, so it did rather seem like he was making a deliberate point.
