Eagles' goal was made by Ream. Wouldn't have predicted using those three words together a couple of months ago.

We start lively this half and Eagles just can't line Beckford up. Derby have a go and Hall chasing the ball right down. Just not finishing the final ball and giving back possession. Beckford wins a free kick early on and....we get a throw level with their box. Derby making a change ? Chungy goes, and finds Mills. Tierney now and another throw. Derby get a break and the Bolton lads are a bit miffed at a dive attempt. Goal kick that goes for a throw. Beckford gets penalised. Free kick Rams and....knocked in but Mills clears and we win a throw. Hall gets done for a "wee push". Crowd making plenty noise now and Eagles goes and.....it's wide from a shot with Beckford as an option. Chungy wins it well and it gets lively. Bolton much more positive now says the man. Eagles, Beckford....penalty shout and the ref won't have it.

Pratley to come on and score. We can win this. We need to win this. We need the points. Come on you useless sacks of shit, pull something out of the bag for us.

We're playing some football as 14,000 is announced as the attendance. Some decent effort from the lads and good movement. Hall wins a free kick and a Rams defender gets yellow. Free kick, 30 yds plus, but it's a bad one from Eagles. Chungy and Eagles working hard, now Eagles gets robbed before Spearing does well and then Hall gets penalised. Plenty life in it now and we've been the better side this half so far. That said, Rams cross is scrambled off the line.....Beckford.....Ohhhh, does really well but shoots wide.

Same old story, the other team is having more shots on target than us.

Interesting, the sub question. Other options are Ngog and Odelusi, plus Medo, Mears, Knight...

Ref has a word and then Hall gets a free kick. Long and.....Mills has to clear for a throw and then we get the goal kick. Effort being shown by both sides. Throw us and another Ram gets a yellow for handball? Hall gets free and feeds Chungy. Now Ream, Beckford, Baptiste, Eagles, and...a great ball in from Spearing wins a corner. Beckford did well then but the corner is headed over. We get an offside free kick. Derby have a break but we recover the ball. Wheater shepherds it out for a goal kick. Mills gets forward but seems to be struggling a bit. Chungy doing well but it's down our end. Derby clear and it's all to and fro.

N'gog taking his pyjamas off as Wheater clears well. Hall leaves the stage for N'gog.

Two corners from us cleared scrappily as we put the pressure on. N'gog's first effort at control comes to naught. Derby get forward. Their keeper doesn't look too confident as we win another corner after a bit of good work. And...Chungy's effort cleared. Ohhhhh and Beckford is just wide again. Bogdan hesitant and causing some flutters. Spearing gets started again as some talk of subs is heard?

Sorry for the abrupt end. Site decided to cut me off and I've just got back on. Not the first time it's happened.

Still that's what happens when you give someone with only five minutes managerial experience themselves the job of sorting out Owen Coyle's mess. He desperately signs 300 strikers and gives Zat Knight a promotion. That's the sort of thing a nine year old boy would do on football manager.
