Just in case anyone missed my viewpoint of N'gog, he's all of shite, feckless, fecking weak and useless. He can't head a ball to save his life, often loses it, and couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo. Occasionally, from the bench, he's come on and turned a game for us. Other than that, Premiership striker in waiting. There is precisely no point whatsoever putting a cross into the oppositions box, unless Chungy's in it. No other fecker seems to be able to get a head on it (generally - there will always be an exception)

Yes the defence is shit, but we have three goals in in 6 games.

Whats our for:against for the season, both expressed as an absolute and an average (mean, median and mode if you so prefer)?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Including cup games? Are you sure? I thought we conceded 7 to just Forest and Blackburn?

The buck stops with Freedman. he knew exactly what he was taking on when he accepted the job. He also handpicked his back-room staff. Lenny is well past his use by date and Curtis Fleming has no experience as a 1st team coach.
This is what Dougie had to say after the Palace game a year ago!
Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman: "We've played against Cardiff, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough over the last few weeks and that was by far our toughest challenge.
"There is no doubt in my mind that they will be in the top two or three at the end of the season and this has to be our biggest scalp so far this campaign."

Can I express is as an emotion?

'Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccckkkkkk!'
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

He leads the line on his own with little or no service. He's feeding off scraps. It's a thankless task.
So what was he doing at Liverpool then when he had the likes of Gerrard, Xabi Alonso, Torres, Kuyt, Babel, Rodriguez etc. providing him with ample, and in some cases true world class, service?

Feck all as he does here...

It's not a question of service when he doesn't have the gumption to put his foot through it when the opportunity arises, or the nous to use his noggin when taking up decent positions in the box. He has the natural build and athletic talent to be a fantastic all-round striker, as he does have technique, he does have height and some physical presence, as well as decent positioning and movement for the most part. He just either doesn't know it, or thinks that you just have to impress in training to get games and then do nothing more. I get the impression that from the managers and clubs that have obviously been impressed by what he can do or potentially can do that he's a very good training ground player, because he's not shown anything to back up the faith shown in him by people like Benitez, Lacombe, Le Guen and now Coyle and Dougie...

No no no. ALL of our players are world class talents who don't have bad attitudes rather are repressed by Evil Uncle Dougie and his arrant ways. If we appointed a different manager we'd go on a 15 match winning streak and go up automatically. Ngog would score a hatful and we'd have the most miserly defence in the world because new guy would unlock their inner brilliance! Dougie out! Anyone else in!

Seriously though, do you really believe that this squad is the worst in the division?

Of course not, and I also think Dougie is far from being one of the best managers. But anyone who claims it's all his fault and the players would be great under a different manager are talking nonsense IMO. That would be BL3, who allows his anti-Dougie agenda to obscure the fact that players are either past it or don't want to play here any more.
We should be mid-table and if he keeps us in the bottom 3 with no signs of gettign higher he should of course be sacked. But I dodn't think there's a manager out there who could come in and get this squad promoted.

I'm not sure we should wait 10 games.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.

I'm not sure why we keep revising our ambitions downwards to accommodate the ability of the manager. We sacked the previous guy (quite rightly) because he was unable to get the best from this group of players. The overwhelming majority of the squad is the same other than a few additions made by the present manager, and we've gone backwards. I'm not entirely sure how we've suddenly become a mid-table side unable to compete, other than as a psychological trick to convince ourselves that Dougie is indeed good enough.

Let's be clear, the only team we've managed to beat so far is Shrewsbury. That is neither acceptable nor defendable. .

Are you not worried that a new manager comes in, things pick up for a while, then slowly revert back? And we end up chasing our tails again.

Is there not some sort of a pattern emerging here?

Feck it I haven't got a clue what the answer is anymore.
