Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Downloaded on my ipad in about 20 minutes. Been at it over 2 hours on my phone though
I really like it anyway for what it's worth

I'm sure he does, and a point well made.bobo the clown wrote:Well .... when you say "everybody" ... you mean the poor saps using apple phones now don't you ?!?!Annoyed Grunt wrote:Everybody downloading iOS 7......means its taking ages for mine.....selfish gits.....
Good to see that the most significant improvement cited by the Torygraph was something Androind devices already does...
Bigger icons is a bit of a mistake, it might draw blind people towards the price tag - which is much larger.

much amusement at Apple's expense... (don't click if poking fun at Apple offends you!)

My favourite feature of IOS7 is how the download fails and my phone crashes and everything explodes and life has no meaning.
Weird: I updated to iOS 7, but I feel just as lonely and unfulfilled as I did this morning? Must be a bug, I bet they'll fix it tomorrow.
Let's just hope iOS 7 is every bit the 'seventh time lucky' success that Police Academy: Mission to Moscow was.
Updated to iOS 7 before bed and it felt like Xmas Eve. Now it feels like that Xmas day when dad walked out and all I got was a satsuma. : (

Re: Technology Thread.
Did it last night, took 20 mins. It looks a little fresher and that but I'm hoping that someone can regale me as to the discernible benefits. Had to fanny about re-pairing it with the car again this morning too.Annoyed Grunt wrote:I don't like it....Bruce Rioja wrote:I'll sort mine out later when all you giddy kippers have quite finished.

well - GG tells me the talking bit is a bit shoite, being as when she holds it up to her ear to talk on it, it presses some kind of mute button... but, then (she says) that's not really what a phone is for!Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:I believe the talking bit is the same. Maybe it's just her ears that are the problem. Surely Apple wouldn't put design above function?thebish wrote:well - GG tells me the talking bit is a bit shoite, being as when she holds it up to her ear to talk on it, it presses some kind of mute button... but, then (she says) that's not really what a phone is for!Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:I believe the talking bit is the same. (Some) Apple wankers cannot help being wankers. If you have queued up just so you can say you were one of the first to buy one then you should be shot. If you get paid to cheer, hug and give high fives to the people in line you should be shot.
The latest Apple release and they have only sent a few out to manufacture the hysteria that these gullible fools crave. I'm sure they have thousands hidden away for the next instalment of imbecility.
Apart from this latest version now being available in gold, is there anything different from the last one?

Re: Technology Thread.
Not that I'd advocate them being shot, like, but I was rather bemused by an article in the BEN a little earlier in the week about people queuing up outside the Game store in town for the midnight release of some or other computer game. I expected that the queue would've comprised teenagers and possibly the odd parent with child. I laughed out load when an accompanying photo showed the queue, a good 100 in length, to be made up exclusively of grown men.

I'm still using a 16gb 3S and quite happy with it after almost 4yrs use. Don't see the point of changing it if its still working, but I may get around to it next year.Annoyed Grunt wrote:The 5s has a faster processor and fingerprint scanner.....that's it, I think...malcd1 wrote:(Some) Apple wankers cannot help being wankers.
