What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

West Wing?? hmmmm.... if you like schmaltz!!

The Wire - I'm probably with you... I think The Wire had a bigger effect on me - it was edgier and had more breadth... whilst BB touches on drug culture - that's incidental - it is basically the story of one man/family...

Never seen an episode! It's on Netflix I guess being another AMC show?

P.S. Just a little shout out to Deadwood.

was loving Deadwood, but never got round to finishing the first series off..

I take it back about Mad Men actually. its truely great but not as good as some of the others mentioned. its tends to be whatever im currently involved in is my favourite, was Game of Thrones last week!

Re The West Wing - is this available via any of these friendly mediums, or would i have to throw some coal in and fire up the dvd player?

Saw the beginning of a new 'comedy' called Father Figure last night. I was quite looking forward to it because I saw Jason Byrne in Dublin last year and he was very good. What a disappointment. I think I lasted about 10 to 15 minutes. It's a bit like a modern, unfunny Some Mothers do 'ave 'em without the stunts.

Went to the Middlebrrok pictures to watch a special screening of Def Leppard's Hysteria gig from Vegas this year. Had to be convinced but it was very good. Joe Elliott has the complexion of Alex Ferguson and hair of Worzel Gummidge these days but the voice is still powerful. Great songs as well, 80s rock classics, loved that album so much I wore the tape out!

I watched the first season of Dexter on Netflix and quite enjoyed it, lost interest part way through the second. Also, do you not find his internal monologue somewhat irritating and at time patronising to the viewer? Did my head in.

Oh thanks for the heads-up there, Tango. I didn't even know that I had a Drama channel

Ian Hart's in it too - a fine actor.
