I have to say I am not convinced that it was opinions on here that ruled out ANY of the candidates....BWFC_Insane wrote:
But as for experience, there were plenty on here who expressed last time that they very much DIDN'T want an experienced pair of hands who had failed elsewhere in some capacity. Which ruled out the experienced candidates we were linked with.

Going a goal down against a side who in any circumstances we should be targeting as a win could just be the tipping point to the Reebok becoming toxic.

I suppose if we finish the season with
PLD 46, WON 38 D3 L5 we'd all say it was a great season.
So I am backing Dougie and the boys to use Yeovill as a springboard to success and begin our climb up the league and back to where we belong.
The greatest football league the whole wide world.
ps - If I had started this thread I'd have gone with Time To Yeovil' because, I'm not normally a pedant but I think you'll find the phrase was just 'Leesten veryee caerfullee, I weel say zis urnlee wurnce' and not 'You weel leesten....'
Stop getting 'Allo 'Allo wrong!

I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

He just rips off Steve Coogan

"Do you know the way to Yeovil" Doesn't have the same ring to it.

Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

You're waaaaaaaay too young to remember a lanky redhead that used to play for us called Paul Fitzpatrick, but I imagine him to look like him.89bwfc89 wrote:Nope and I reckon you'll have just properly offended him there!Bruce Rioja wrote:I envisage young Dan to be ginger. Just reminded me of another lanky ginger, Ronnie Codd, played for Bolton in the fifties.Bruce Rioja wrote: You're waaaaaaaay too young to remember a lanky redhead that used to play for us called Paul Fitzpatrick, but I imagine him to look like him.
Ronnie is the one with the spade and the one with the ring round his neck is Sheffield legend Derek Dooley. Makes me feel a little old.

Si Deus pro nobis, quis contra nos?
