Anyone but Coyle.
Oh, hang on. That's what folk wanted last time. How did that one work out?

The question still stands and hasn't been answered what players have come through?
theyre not for that, theyre players that've already been rejected from the middleboroughs or whoevers youth team and carnt get another team.
glenn hoddle's has a wiki page

if he can only bring three or four back to rise like a phoenix. jamie f's might struggle.
i think the gerenal point is to make sure they dont turn into wasters and i suppose it makes glenn and jamie feel good about themselves that theyre helping young folk.
but you know.

jesus christ , the last lot had a assistant kitman that had probably never turned a washing machine on before.
Re: Freedman out!

i think that's the right answer.
Re: Freedman out!
it's all tickety-boo - apart from the small detail of us being bottom of the league and a wee bit lower than "teamcoyle" ever managed...a1 wrote:worked out great coz teamcoyle left , and i dont hear mental stories from folk that work there anymore.CrazyHorse wrote:Anyone but Coyle.

i'm fairly sure we'd be at the bottom of division three (league one?) now if , somehow, coyle were still managing at bwfc.thebish wrote: it's all tickety-boo - apart from the small detail of us being bottom of the league and a wee bit lower than "teamcoyle" ever managed...
dont know it all. but my 'confidence' in it is back. they might be shite still, but , at least theyre not crazy and shite.
maybe some other guy would be better, but , i'll wait and see, i'll take their word over someone who goes "he said 'them' instead of 'us' *has aneurysm* " or whatever on the internet.

Re: Freedman out!
Coyle's PPG would have got us relegated. Comfortably. So we may have been lower. Dougie in! Yay.

Re: Freedman out!
maybe, but i dont know how long a lower league club can last if its paying its assistant kitman 40 grand a year.Prufrock wrote:Coyle's PPG would have got us relegated. Comfortably. So we may have been lower. Dougie in! Yay.
Re: Freedman out!
Can a lower league club last providing charity youth developments, super duper sports science departments, extensive scouting networks for players who don't want to come and an expensive manager and assistants?a1 wrote:maybe, but i dont know how long a lower league club can last if its paying its assistant kitman 40 grand a year.Prufrock wrote:Coyle's PPG would have got us relegated. Re: Freedman out!
Bielsa is a very interesting character. Hope Dougie sorts it out, but if he does leave I'd love to see Bielsa come to us. Not very likely though, must be said!a1 wrote:thats as maybe. but the backroom staff's ins and outs on the club website is no reason to assume they dont know what theyre doing.

Through his academy in Spain? I have no idea.jaffka wrote:What players have come through?BWFC_Insane wrote:Our development coach previously set up a successful and still running football academy in Spain for example. I'd say that is fairly impressive on a young coaches CV personally?Hoboh wrote:

Gartsides been shopping at poundshop and it should be no suprise we are in the position we are in and where we are going.
No wonder we are picking up the players we are.

So its unsure if this academy is successful or not then.BWFC_Insane wrote:Through his academy in Spain? Re: Freedman out!
Great, so we've swapped one set of jobs-for-the-boys for another set of jobs-for-the-boys (AKA Old Palaconians or something). I'm guessing by our uber-shitfest this season that we've also swapped ping pong for shove ha'penny as our match preparation.
Can't wait for Yeovil, and the 'I told you so's'. As if beating Yeovil excuses the utter pish so far.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Freedman out!
I'll start to feel a bit more optimistic if we put 6 games unbeaten together. Beating Yeovil (which I think we will) means little other than being 1 game closer to that aim. We're going to win at some point, it's how we back it upLord Kangana wrote:Great, so we've swapped one set of jobs-for-the-boys for another set of jobs-for-the-boys (AKA Old Palaconians or something).
