Just have to wait to see what the next couple of days bring I guess. Sounds like there could be a couple more on their way.

The fact that, by the looks of it, we're in the market to bring in absolutely anybody we can get (regardless of where they play) tells it's own story.

Loan market is tricky, club have to let the player come, player has to want to come etc...

He played against at the 'Bok last season with 'Uddersfield and looked decent and tidy with the ball from what I remember.
He did look decent, but if we're talking former Palace men from that night I'd like to see Sean Scannell in a Wanderers shirt. Looked a good un.
He was great, didn't he play on one side and Danns on the other for 'Udderfield last season?
That's right, both with dreadlocks made them hard to tell apart, especially for a man of my limited eyesight. Both very unlucky to be on the losing side.
Could be a good player for us, but it's got to be hoped purse strings have been loosened and there are defenders/strikers on the way. Because his position is clearly the least of our many worries.

It's like you read my mind. I thought exactly the same thing and wondered if they were twins till I read the programme. I'm hoping/praying that we've got a defender and striker on the way.

Still having no luck finding a list of players not included in Premier League 25 man squads
Pfffft.

Don't bother, you'll just end up disappointed when we end up with more Championship reserves we've never heard of!

True that. Although a did notice in the paper today that Laudrup has said that Lita doesn't have a future at Swansea

This.

If we are bringing in players from Leicester I don't have much faith that what we will get in will be that good.

Panic signings springs to mind.

Any roads, here's what my Leicester mate thinks:
Yeah I rate him, Neil Lennon-esqe grafting defensive midfielder. For some reason Pearson keeps sending him out on loan (Hudd last yr, with Beckford). Previously at Palace hence Freedman knows him.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.

are medo, spearing and ream not enough in the defensive midfield region? or are we gonna deploy 4 defensive mids in front of the back four?

Another defensiv e midefielder to provide the bullets for Beckford then! Brilliant. Wasn't in a holding role for Huddersfield. Balls to it.

A defensive midfielder, just what we need.

Maybe dougie was looking to complete his ultimate clean sheet formation ready for the titans visiting us this weekend, something like this might keep the conceded goals down to 2 or 3

It does feel kind of ironic however that we hated our last manager for never playing a defensive midfielder and now the fans are turning against the new one for playing too many
