If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

One of my all time favourites, Bruce..
I remember you saying, Grunto. Promised myself I'd watch it on a distraction-free night, which was last night. Was bloody shattered though.
May the bridges I burn light your way

watched a bit of that with the missus when it started - but then got hopelessly lost (nodded off a few times) and missed a couple - so that i simply didn't have the faintest clue what was going on!!

Its definitely one of those that if you miss one or 2 episodes then its lost forever and you dont ever know what the hells going on, the same as "Lost" when I come to think about it.

It was great fun, but sort f ran out of steam. Almost tht it lasted longernthan the writers knew what to do with it. The final few were awful.

Good overall though.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I do agree that the last series was weak but it didnt help that it was done during the "hollywood writer's strike" and they had to rush it, they did intend on doing another series but as they'd hired "Scabs" during the strike, the original writers refused to do anymore and the "new " writers weren't much cop, so they just finished it were the series ended.

Just noticed that they're going to make a 10 part TV adaptation of Fargo, with Martin Freeman playing Lester Nygaard. Hmmmmmmmmmm :?

ahhh - yes - boardwalk - i started that, then kinda stopped - not sure why... might go back to it one day

i was trying not to give much away - the fact that jessie escapes is pretty much flagged through the whole episode - what happens when he does was summat i wasn't expecting!

it just goes on getting better and better - it delivers bigtime!

Sorry to go against the grain but I'm not enjoying season 5 at all.
Everything that made the whole series great has been ruined by the writers desperate need to come up with a story conclusion.
And nailed on, the finale will be utter shite.

There I've said it.

to preserve the uncertainty and ambiguity and keep it as pure as possible - then I'd recommend not watching the utter shite finale - you'll thank yourself when you haven't watched it!

A rare night in, might catch up with 3 day Nanny, Bake off and Educating Yorkshire or might have a long bath. Decisions, decisions.

Yeah I'm not going to do that; I'm in too deep. :)

I mean it though, Season 5's turned into a pure nonsensical parody of itself.
I suspect I'm not the only one to think this but it's entered into the Emperor's New Clothes territory now. Still, Seasons 1-4 were some of the best telly I've ever seen.

i think i disagree...

it has obviously been spiralling into chaotic climax ever since it started - yet they always manage to JUST keep the lid on... we have always known there would come a point where Walter's quite staggering hubris and utter selfish and twisted single-minded drive to make it all worthwhile - even if it hurts those he is supposed to be providing for just hits a wall...

i thought the last episode showed his utter desolation really well - the natural consequence of where it has all been spiralling...
