I want a go Dujon!!

On a doubly happy note today, my estate agent rang to say that two prospective tenants were fighting over my house, following which a nice occupational health doctor insisted that I work two days a week from home. If Carlsberg did Tuesdays............

I bought one of their shirts earlier this year. Great quality, but when it arrived I discovered that their idea of 'slim fit' is a size for someone between 15 and 18 stone. Feck knows how big their 'Regular' size is but I could happily have camped out in mine.

to think 2 months ago i was totally dependant on glassess or contact lenses, not just to read, drive or to use a computer but to actually see where i was going. incapacitated without them.

just been for my 8 week check up since the laser eye job and my vision is better than 20:20 (which i didnt know was possible) im about 20:16 apparently! best cash ive ever spent.

just taken on a gardener to do a couple of biggish jobs that i can't be arsed to do in the garden (digging through a big bed of hard clay soil infested with ivy and overgrown shrubs)

have taken him on purely and simply because I walked past his van whilst taking the dog out and liked his company name:

Gardening Hans

he is German - so am guessing he actually is called Hans... 8)

I found out on Friday that I'll be made redundant on 18th October and I'm really content. I'm looking forward to the future with a great deal of optimism :pissed:
