What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

I take spoilers very seriously. Genuinely remorseful here :( Plain forgot to type *spoilers* at the top.

It's a div error, and often just plain unfunny.

I did start my post with "people misinterpreting the ending* though! Must train thy eyes to flick away in time.

yeah, if you knew the end and blabbed it before it was shown on telly. but that's not what happened here.

thats the prob with this on demand shit , you carnt talk about nowt now coz some peeps had "somethin' better to do" and didnt watch it when it were on in the first place.

lost's not been on telly for about 6 years. the world carnt keep quiet about things because some hipsters were too busy with boring shit that could have waited.

There's literally no difference between something that's been finished for 6 years, 20 years, 1000 years or 1 day. If someone hasn't seen it then it's common curtesy to alert other readers that what you're about to talk about contains spoilers, whether it's written in big letters ie SPOILERS REGARDING SUCH A THING FOLLOWING which gives the reader enough time to make their mind up whether they want to read on or not, or as I have done in the past, change the colour of the text to white so there isn't the chance of the reader picking up the odd word which can still spoil something, as happened with me and Lost.

Just going ahead and talking about something as big as a season finale or the end of a film without any alert is just a dick move, plain and simple.

See that's an interesting point. Back in the day magazines didn't tend to be specific about revealing too much, plot line wise, but these days a lot of magazines/websites will actually do two separate reviews/previews, one with spoilers and one without.

Its a sign of how times have changed, and honestly, people in the majority have adapted to it too. This is the only board/social network I use that has this kind of attitude towards spoilers.

Honestly, I'm with you most of the time, but I hope you wont watch Lost now. If so, I've had a positive contribution to your life.

Its one I've tried to start and always got bored. I had planned on eventually watching it if I had nothing else to watch. I've always been put off by it because people have said the last few seasons are shit and it's gone on a direction that usually wouldn't interest me.

Watched the new Homeland episode a few weeks back. It was good, but I wish'd I'd have watched the last episode of season 2 because I'd forgotten about a lot of the stuff that happened and had to read about it on wiki as the episode went on.

Isn't the spoiler in answering Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads?

I mean, I'd like to watch the show and find out for myself. I'm guessing the butler did it.

In future, all posts that include a ridiculous spoiler could be preceded by this. :)
