Re: General Chit Chat
Mrs C on husband number three and me on wife number two so we both make mistakes from time to time but are very forgiving about it. My excuse is that former and present have only one letter difference in their given names.
Re: General Chit Chat
I not only am murder at remembering names but I also have this habit of thinking that if I speak to somebody reasonably regularly and then I see someone who I think is them in the street I will go and say hello to them resulting in some very strange looks from people when I start asking questions like how are the kids to people I have never even spoken to in my life before who I think is my next door neighbour.

My Dad manages to get through every feckin member of his extended family before he gets my name right.

Big kerfuffle on Marsh Lane/Lucas Road not far from us today. Police everywhere, helicopter, the full issue, Marsh Lane closed off completely. . Apparently a bloke and a woman got stabbed around 3-0'clock. No more details yet but it should be on Granada Reports.

only if you really believe that Farnworth is the only place where people stab people. otherwise it would be a stupid and meaningless thing to say...

They are called Flex Tubs. You can get them in any good Tack Shop, Saddlery, Hardware Store, or Gardening Centre.General Mannerheim wrote:right, what do you call these things and where do you get em?

Bought one in ASDA this summer to use as an ice/water bucket - couple of quid.
