1.cyclists cycling on busy pavement knock a big bloke over and then calls him a pussy (the bloke was stood up waiting at a bus stop and therefore was not moving)
2. cyclist cycling down extremely packed pavement (that was probably only about 4ft wide) ringing his bell incessantly as he charges down the pavement barging into the odd person instead of cycling in the empty bus lane which is not used because the bus service does not run anymore
3. 2 minutes later see and identical incident (as the 2nd) and nearly get hit by another b*st*rd cyclist who does a sigh of all sigh as he stops about 6 inches short of my toes was seriously considering giving him a mouthful but the b*stard had cycled off before I got a chance however at least he heard me call him a b*st*rd under my breath as he cycled away.
In simple get in the f*ck**g road or I will put you in the road. Just because you think your to cool to wear a helmet that doesn't mean your allowed to get off of the road and start hurtling down the pavement at pace barging and brushing pedestrians as you go.
I must state that all the above incidents happened today and I have seen others. I feel it is my duty to stand fast when cyclists are not on the road and only jump out of the way at the last minute (assuming they are going quickly) and let buggers know what I think off them
Rant over and people call Worthy and angry young man.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
He thinks I am though! I'm a teacher, an occasional cyclist (both of which he hates) and he once thought I was bringing anti-Replublican sectarian hatred to the Bolton terraces by having a Churchill quote as my signature which featured the words 'No surrender'!!Il Pirate wrote:Dan and I have sorted our confusion. Sure he's a lovely lad really, hope we can meet and man-hug one day.
PS Dan, do you hate runners as well?

You have a very long memory LE I will apologize again for making such assumption, it only came to mind because of those 2 words in your signature and I based on the fact that I have kept seeing a massive flag with no surrender in big bold letters with a Rangers and Bolton logo at games around that time, again apologizes I clearly wasent at my sharpest that day (as my quoting of what my dad had said to me proved). Its all a load of rubbish any how this catholic protestant thing.

What can I do about a neighbor who plays her music to loud! I would go and have a go but it's only a women who lives there and if she gets in my face there ain't a lot I can do
What's my rights? one night she played her music till 3 in the morning pissed me right off as i had work that morning (she does't work the sponging git)
She banged on the wall last night cus my son was crying (around 10 o'clock)he's ill with slap cheek not to mention he's 11 months old hence why I think she's playing it tonight!!

Have a word, apologize for your lad being unwell and hence crying and politely ask her to not play music after xPM

Is she renting? If so, ring her landlord any time of day or night she is out of order. He'll soon get fed up of the hassle and get rid
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.

Complain about noise to the council
You can ask your local council for help if the neighbour dispute involves an activity that is damaging to health or a nuisance. This is known as a ‘statutory nuisance’.
Examples include:
noise (including loud music and barking dogs)
artificial light (except street lamps)
dust, steam, smell or insects from business premises
smoke, fumes or gases
a build-up of rubbish that could harm health
Your local council has a duty to investigate any statutory nuisance.
You should always try and solve the problem by talking to your neighbour or through mediation before contacting the council.
Penalties
If the council decides someone is causing a statutory noise nuisance they must issue a ‘noise abatement’ order. This tells the person what they must do to stop making a noise nuisance or else face further legal action.
If someone breaks an abatement order about noise from their home, they can be fined up to £5,000. If it’s noise from a factory or business, the penalty can be up to £20,000.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Hoboh's correct but legal action is a long drawn out process.
Discretion being the better part of valor - go and have a chat with her. Don't worry about getting all your messages out at once. It's more important to strike up a friendly relationship. Far easier to confront the music issue with someone you've been chatting to on and off for a few weeks. If you're friendly and smiley and after all that she still blasts the music out, then go for the bitch.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Definitely don't apologise for your son being ill, he can't help it! I'd knock on and be polite but firm, perhaps mention that you'll have to call her landlord if it persists.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
No need Dan only joking, didn't really think you hated these groups, and you explained the Rangers thing at the time. Not answered the runners question though! My mate used to berate me when pissed about runners being on the pavement when they should be on the track.bwfcdan94 wrote:
