Footballers are very single minded, very confident in their ability, hence they are where they are in their careers. They won't be thinking about bench warming, they'll be thinking that they'll go in to whatever club, be utterly brilliant and play every game, because they're utterly brilliant

Buying cars, it depends what kind they are. Over the last 10 years the valuation of classic cars has gone up more than anything except gold.
Of course, if he's just buying five Range Rovers and getting Overfinch to paint them pink, he's being a dick.

DF must REALLY not rate Eaves !!!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Perhaps the French guy is the next Eidur who we signed after being a highly rated youngster but then got hit by injuries and wasn't playing when we offered him a trial !!!
Well a man can dream can't he !!!

He'd just been released from PSV Eindhoven though. Not the equivalent of Brentford.

Aye, watching last night it was slightly dreamlike to think that it wasn't v long ago that we had Cahill, Wilshere, Sturridgeboltonboris wrote:He'd just been released from PSV Eindhoven though. Not the equivalent of Brentford.

Camerling in French for Fawlty.
Re: PLYMOUTH'S stupendously all singing dancing transfer thr
Maybe he's related to George Weah.

Don't see how its any different to the market in which we signed, say Holden, or as Bobo said, Gudjohnson. Just getting it in first, like.boltonboris wrote:He'd just been released from PSV Eindhoven though. Not the equivalent of Brentford.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Hope and given he will be competing with the likes of Ngog and Beckford.

Re: PLYMOUTH'S stupendously all singing dancing transfer thr
He's played in Ligue 1 before dropping down. Presumably his fall came about through injuries from what it says. Hardly inspiring or exciting stuff though. Like someone said, Eaves must be gutted.
