I didn't think Abi was so good last night but I haven't got a favourite yet. Not got a favourite in bake off either, but I suspect Ruby will win and Kimberley second...Annoyed Grunt wrote:X Factor.....I like Abi.Gooner Girl wrote:Yeah, yeah... Go on, who's your fave so far? Final episode of Dexter.
Re: What are you watching tonight?
As final episodes go, not too bad, but not great I thought. How did you find it?Annoyed Grunt wrote:Final episode of Dexter.

I'm in the vast minority when I say I liked the ending of Dexter.

I've pretty much been watching Les Miserables on sky movies constantly this weekend, it's on now... It's absolutely tremendous, looks great in HD too...
Re: What are you watching tonight?
Still not seen it. Dislike musicals* but will give it a go.

Watching Great British Railway Journeys. They couldn't possibly have found a finer presenter for this than Portillo (Well, they could have - me, but anyway)

Love a musical. Saw Sunshine on Leith last week, bloody loved it.
Re: What are you watching tonight?
I've heard this from both friends and pro reviewers, but since I dislike both musicals and that 500 miles Proclaimers song I can't imagine liking it. Will try when it's on Sky and I can switch off.General Mannerheim wrote:Love a musical. Saw Sunshine on Leith last week, bloody loved it.

A friend's daughter is Assistant Producer on some of these and says he's a tremendously pleasant guy to work with.Bruce Rioja wrote:Watching Great British Railway Journeys. They couldn't possibly have found a finer presenter for this than Portillo (Well, they could have - me, but anyway)
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
I think you either want an all out blockbuster ending or a poignant one, kind of fell between the two I think.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Hmm, not sure I liked it..hi there, i'm chris wrote:I'm in the vast minority when I say I liked the ending of Dexter.
Very hard to get right I suppose. Was a very good series, finished at the right time though.

I can easily believe that. He's one of those people that I'd absolutely love to meet.bobo the clown wrote:A friend's daughter is Assistant Producer on some of these and says he's a tremendously pleasant guy to work with.Bruce Rioja wrote:Watching Great British Railway Journeys. Without him, there would no longer be the Settle-Carlsile railway. Some of his European jaunts are tremendous as well. Has a rather natty taste in jackets also.............Bruce Rioja wrote:I can easily believe that. Railway Journeys is ace. I believe Mummy bumped into him on a station platform while he was carrying his Bradshaw!
