As for the folks saying "It'll make a nice change, new grounds, new teams" etc. under Coyle - I'm sure if you did a search you'd be able to find out which folk they were. Sure there was a good few of them. Could never work out whether they were justifying backing the wrong horse or genuinely wanted a change to a lower Division for some bizarre reason. Either way, for me, it's not making a nice change and I won't be forgiving the clueless c*nt anytime soon.

It is, of course, possible that those people were trying to put a bright spin on the upcoming Championship season rather than dwell on the relegation. I have no problem with people doing that and supporting the team whatever.

Your assertion that they were justifying backing the wrong horse is a bit harsh IMO. I think we all supported Coyle at one time - some, yourself, spotted the warning signs earlier than others.

All I was doing was suggesting that for those who haven't yet come round to the fact that Freedman is struggling big time, in the spirit of equinamity, they could suggest that visiting Stevenage is an absolute benefit of Freedman still being in charge, similar to what some folks said about us getting relegated by Coyle.

I really couldn't see any "bright spin" from dropping down a Division, either financially or from a footballing perspective. I didn't really enjoy a lot of the poor football on offer last season very much and certainly wouldn't enjoy the financial hit from dropping a further Division and even poorer football.

Holloway comes out with some silly shit, but I quite like his 'wit'. He certainly has more experience than Dougie. Plus he actually has managed promotions. I'd snap his hand off. But then again, I rate Dalglish, so care must be taken regarding any opinion I put forward. But, I do note this, when I went through the list of available managers on the League Managers' Association website, only Kenny and a couple of Italians (not including that tosser Di Canio) and a Frenchman or two struck me as being even eve remotely worthwhile considering. There's a dearth of the fxckers.
