Re: Freedman out!
Could I just point out that Northampton are likely to sack their manager in the coming weeks.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Port Vale used to have a Normid next to Vale Park.
Bolton, twinned with a place that doesn't exist.

I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

Re: Freedman out!
It is, of course, possible that those people were trying to put a bright spin on the upcoming Championship season rather than dwell on the relegation. I have no problem with people doing that and supporting the team whatever.Worthy4England wrote:
As for the folks saying "It'll make a nice change, new grounds, new teams" etc. under Coyle - I'm sure if you did a search you'd be able to find out which folk they were. Sure there was a good few of them. Could never work out whether they were justifying backing the wrong horse or genuinely wanted a change to a lower Division for some bizarre reason. Either way, for me, it's not making a nice change and I won't be forgiving the clueless c*nt anytime soon.
Your assertion that they were justifying backing the wrong horse is a bit harsh IMO. I think we all supported Coyle at one time - some, yourself, spotted the warning signs earlier than others.
Bravo for that

There seems to be a decent chance that this lad is worse than Coyle but it's being ignored/excused by some who are still focused on the previous incumbent.
Might be a case of once bitten/twice shy for me as my arrival at the Coyle is Clueless party was a bit tardy.

Re: Freedman out!
All I was doing was suggesting that for those who haven't yet come round to the fact that Freedman is struggling big time, in the spirit of equinamity, they could suggest that visiting Stevenage is an absolute benefit of Freedman still being in charge, similar to what some folks said about us getting relegated by Coyle.Wandering Willy wrote:It is, of course, possible that those people were trying to put a bright spin on the upcoming Championship season rather than dwell on the relegation. I really couldn't see any "bright spin" from dropping down a Division, either financially or from a footballing perspective. I didn't really enjoy a lot of the poor football on offer last season very much and certainly wouldn't enjoy the financial hit from dropping a further Division and even poorer football.

Well it's sort of interesting and we've been there before. Coming up from Div 4 was quite fun, heading all the way down there was fecking awful.

Re: Freedman out!
I honestly don't know what the answer is.
Is it the manager? Is the previous manager, the one before him, the one before that, Garty, Jonny Evans, Ream, Zat (you have to blame Zat for something don't you?).
Who?
What difference would it make if we got rid of Friedface and replaced him with Stoufer the cat?
Do you ever feel like you're repeating yourself more and more these days? Even for someone like me who has about five stories and moods on a pretty tight rotation already I do seem to be feeling the despondency-resignation-despondency emotions a lot more frequently than usual.
Him out/him in who gives a racist monkey's?

Re: Freedman out!
We'd better hurry up and hire the ace Holloway otherwise he and all the other ace sacked managers will all get jobs! Quick!!!
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

You say he is a joke.........

Would you rather be in the Prem with Holloway, or in the First Division with Freedman ?????
Its the Prem with Holloway for me. (given the choice)

Those aren't the choices though. It would be either in the Championship with Holloway, or in the Championship with Freedman. I'd rather have Freedman.davroduk wrote:Took Blackpool up from this divisionBruce Rioja wrote:Good heavens, no. Never. The man's a joke.

Why? Has Freedman got more experience of a relegation scrap?Beefheart wrote:Those aren't the choices though. No only started to 'miss a few' during Megsons time, might start to 'pick games' if this shambles carries on. Hard to justify the cost and the other half ain't too happy with miserable weekendsBruce Rioja wrote:Out of curiosity, Hoboh - are you one of those?Hoboh wrote: Take heart you can always join the 4000 odd that have already voted with their feet

Re: Freedman out!
Holloway is a clown but he's a better manager than Freedman. He wouldn't be near the top of my list but he'd still be an improvement.

I'm happy to stick with Dougie but I don't think Holloway would be a disaster

Re: Freedman out!
Holloway comes out with some silly shit, but I quite like his 'wit'. He certainly has more experience than Dougie. Plus he actually has managed promotions. I'd snap his hand off. But then again, I rate Dalglish, so care must be taken regarding any opinion I put forward. But, I do note this, when I went through the list of available managers on the League Managers' Association website, only Kenny and a couple of Italians (not including that tosser Di Canio) and a Frenchman or two struck me as being even eve remotely worthwhile considering. There's a dearth of the fxckers.
That's not a leopard!
