loan moves - why not brek shea

Post by jjd95 » Sat Oct 26, 2013 2:05 am

ok it seems to me that Bolton is pretty eager to bring in loan players, why not brek shea? or someone else like him, a premier league player on the fringe of their country's world cup roster, desparate for a championship side loan?

Had to look up on Wiki who this was so for other who don't know:

Dane Brekken "Brek" Shea (born February 28, 1990) is an American soccer player who plays as a winger for Stoke City in the Premier League and the United States national team.
Shea began his career with Major League Soccer team FC Dallas after playing in the IMG Academy. He made his debut during the 2008 season and helped Dallas reach the MLS Cup Playoffs in 2010 and 2011. In January 2013, Shea joined to English Premier League side Stoke City for a fee of £2.5 million.

One reason may be why we don't go for him is money - we don't have any !!

I wondered if he sold kitchens initially.

Looks like Stoke bought him and buried him in the reserves. I remember the days when we had £2.5m we could do daft things with "on the off chance". I wonder if Pulis will return for him once (if) he gets another gig.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Back in the good old days of old fashioned 4-3-3 (not fancy new versions) I played left wing. I'm 6'5", slow and cumbersome. I got away with it as you could run through people back then

I really like Brek Shea big physical player who can certainly act as an outlet and is not anywhere near as slow as his size might suggest. He is a very good player and I think he woul walk into our first team. Good shout JJD.

I would also like to point out he has record of 1 in 5 for FC Dallas. Here is a video of his
highlights the goal at 1:20 is an accurate reading of how quick a player he is.

He is shite and a grim individual.

He has been discussed previously on other threads. Pretty sure a Stoke fan has commented about his shiteness also on one of the threads.

As above, not only is he shit at football (that shouldn't automatically rule him out for us now, should it) he's also supposedly a massive cock.

Plus his name is Brek. Which it isn't, because his real name is Dane.

No.

Honestly, without exaggeration, no feckin about. I'd rather die from bad aids than see Brek 'y'all gun slingers' Shea turn out for my team.
