Re: Freedman out!
Big frustration of mine that.
The bloke behind me just yells "FORWARD" as soon as the 3rd pass we complete doesn't go past the halfway line... Absolute whopper

Was a chap was behind me a few times (North Upper) who always shouted this a while back, but he hasn't been around since I turned round and had a go at him

The latest is some guy complaining the entire match about Bogdan though so perhaps the only solution is a vetting system where you have to give a reasonable definition of what you think it is to recycle possession
I never understand, these older chaps have presumably seen a lot worse BWFC teams than I have

It's a quote from a fan of Tottenham, who are fourth in the Premier League.throwawayboltonian wrote:I completely sympathise with him in that respect, however on the other side of the coin there's not really all that much to be positive about. I don't think there'd be so much criticism if we were playing well and losing, the problem is we're playing very poorly regardless of the result. It's gotten to the point where I can't stomach following games (even our beloved Radio Tango!) at the weekend now.

Point is, many a football fan is dissatisfied.

Agreed. Opinion appears to be if you're not for Freedman you're against him. I'm neither. I just want the club to do better than it is and for the manager (whoever it is) to do well. I want my team to battle and scrap for every point. I want the crowd to cheer the team on and off the pitch and not to piss and moan at every misplaced pass in between.
I've stated this both on here and in public with my family before and have been told 'you don't pay to watch this shit every week'. Well, quite. But can't people see that they are giving every successive manager (and the players he brings in) less and less time to succeed. So they don't. I avoid posting on match threads more and more as I can't bring myself to follow the games live. I check the scores and read the match threads and see the same old suspects almost gleeful that we've lost because it gives them a chance to 'I told you so' for a few more days. They (largely) disappeared towards the end of last season during our Halcyon period, only to return after the Blackpool game.
I sometimes think we largely get the football we deserve.
Re: Freedman out!
Personally I think the fans at the game have been pretty patient. I've yet to hear a 'you don't know what you're doing' chant, even if all the evidence in front of us is that he doesn't.Gary the Enfield wrote:Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Point is, many a football fan is dissatisfied.

I don't see any evidence that people bitching and moaning on the Internet has any bearing on what happens on the pitch.

While their team was piling up 31 shots, 10 of them on target.

I'm honestly at a loss as to how that, or the previously posted quote from a Spurs fan, has any bearing on our situation.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:...as some Norwich fans were singing on Saturday.mrplow wrote:Personally I think the fans at the game have been pretty patient. Re: Freedman out!
Let them keep singing it. Would love Chris Hughton here if Dougie gets the boot. Proved he has what it takes in this league. Won it with Newcastle only losing 3 or 4 games that season and took a weak Birmingham team to the group stages in Europe and finished 4th in the league the same season.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:...as some Norwich fans were singing on Saturday.mrplow wrote:Personally I think the fans at the game have been pretty patient. People are wondering why the atmosphere round here's hardly joyous. I'm pointing out that there's quite a few supporters feeling fairly hacked off.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Point is, many a football fan is dissatisfied.

Re: Freedman out!
Dougie is doing okay from where I'm sat. Thanks

Re: Freedman out!
It just dawned on me today that tomorrow is November and we still haven't won a home game!
.

The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
Re: Freedman out!
Could it not be that our most creative players are out with injury; those that have failed to perform under Coyle haven't shown that they are willing to for Dougie either; those who we would like to move on won't leave as they'd be hard pressed to find a better contract elsewhere and that we don't have the cash to allow Dougie to sign the players that he'd like?
