Maybe I'm missing something but the words ....

"More than a quarter of people arrested in London, equivalent to 70,000 people, are from overseas, with about half of them from outside the European Union"

... aren't insignificant, are they ? In terms of deportation, a quarter of arrests in London are of people from abroad. Half of those are non-EEC. It makes the basis of a discussion, Shirley ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I'm surprised the proportion isn't significantly higher.

In terms of non-Europeans, it's about 10%.

So obviously that means that 90% of crime in London is committed by Europeans.. Hardly a cause to stick the boot in, considering that probably 10% of London's population is from outside the EC. It's all relative

Well argued.

But I fancied a rant. :(

If the Non-European population is significantly lower than 10%, then their are certainly sufficient grounds for a rant..

Today I'm angry because some legless little nice person at the tyre fitting place had moved my seat, not only so that it was too close to the steering wheel, but also by way of height and the angle of the back rest, cancelled the lights setting and moved the mirror. Bastards were only putting a new tyre on!!!!

*Cough! And so are you! In fact pretty much every Bolton fan I have ever met is either grey or bald (apart from Mrkint) even Mummy is going a bit grey and he's pretty much a teenager. Must be something in the air up north...
