clapton is god wrote:^ Stumbled across Closer to the Edge just as it was starting. I was a little bit pished and stuffed to the gunnels after a good night out but had to stop up and watch it. What utter madness the TT is! The riders took all the death and destruction with a pinch of salt and just got on with it. Guy Martin, and in fact all the riders featured, comes across as a genuinely nice fella, if more than a little bit manic, but that collision at the end was nailed on to happen. How does anyone walk away, almost, from a 170mph fireball collision? Crazy people, but a terrific and absorbing film.
I thought it was brilliant, and that's from someone with no interest whatsoever in Motorsport. Might watch enna, been told that's also very good.

Watched it as per the General's recco. Absolutely captivating. So much so that I'm trying to get over there next year.

You'll need a tent Bruce, accommodation gets booked years in advance. Not to mention the ferry.

I've just seen the first. Stannis Baratheon with a sense of humour! I'm also in love with Clemence Poesy. Looking forward to the next one. Any of you guys see The Bridge? I never did although I intended to.

Well, she is part Veela!

That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

She's scruffed up on here, a bit like Clare Danes in Homeland, but in a way even more attractive because she looks more like someone I could pull. (I'm an optimist).

PS Thanks for Google tip.

You can go to the TT and back in the same day no bother. Know a few folk who do that often.

Yeah, yeah. :D

Anyhow, there's something on for Dan, right now. Tales from Northumberland with Robson Green. An eight part series, no less. That should remove any remaining confusion that our lad has about where it is and what it comprises. ;)
