Can I please ask who it is who wants the team to lose, we are all Bolton fans and we all desperately want the team to win and progress - its just that some of us don't rate Freedman as a manager....simple !
i think he might be referring to the poster who said it was a shame Yeovil equalised because it meant a stay of execution for Dougie - which sounds very much like not wanting us to win a game - nay - even wanting us to lose one...

He bloody well should, on the whole I think we've been very supportive. Even now I'd rather have him replaced I still want him to do well.

Indeed, even during a run of results which can only be described as utterly shit, there has been hardly any dissent. Other than that wobbled-headed fatty anyway.

This, broadly, is a good thing, IMO.

I think (and this is just my prospective, I may well be wrong) that during that run of results the fans had just lost hope to the extent where they could not be bothered to have a go at Dougie, There was just to some extent and expectation going into games that we would not win.

OK, no I won't, but I'll try.

Well, the effort is appreciated. :D

Even my youthful optimism was starting to slide. But then I did turn 30 recently.

Was just reading the league table while waiting earlier, our away form looks like the away form of a team around the playoff places. Maybe they could try what Coventry did and play home games in Northampton.

I was away and couldn't follow the game.

What a great result though, my magic on the thread creation worked!

Good result and sounded like a fairly convincing performance. Something else to build on. Hope we capitalise and can chalk a few more up.

Not sure where this "scuffed / scruffy finish" comes from in relation to N'Gog's goal comes from. Looked like a very good finish from a tight angle to me. Also, Bolton Wanderers' footballers; please note that Jermaine Beckford has scored four goals from balls played to him on the floor and has scored none at all from balls twatted towards him in the air. Coincidence?

Couldn't stop laughing at the Andy Lonergan chant. Who makes these things up?

You sure can! To the tune of Simon & Garfunkel's Mrs Robinson:

And here's to you, Andy Lonergan,
Bolton loves you more than you will know,
woah oh oh ohhhhh

Very good. Uncommonly inventive.

There were quite a few Bolton fans who came down on a Friday so come Saturday there was an odd number of people wearing sunglasses. Me and HMX bumped into a Bournemouth fan on the way home who claims that Dougie has made us very hard to beat and that were going to charge up the table.

With you there but there is nothing long with 15 minutes of "were the one and only wanderers" or as it sounded more like at Bournemouth "werwerwerewerwerewawa" the drink had certainly taken its toll on several Boltonian voices.
