Well, by 'Tosser' you could of course mean Bob Crowe. Despite him earning £140 K PA this is his council house!bobo the clown wrote:I did it ages ago Bruce, which is what Worthy is recalling.

I think you gents are confusing Communism and Socialism.
But don't let facts get in the way of a good story.

dunno why people are so shocked... the police have always fitted people up - it's only cos it is a Tory MP this time that the world has stood up and taken notice - and that MPs have had a collective hissy fit..
meanwhile those same MPs are claiming heating bills on their expenses... Tory MP Tory Nadhim Zahawi claimed a staggering £5,822 in just 12 months – more than four times the average household energy bill – to power and heat his £1million constituency home in a sprawling 31-acre estate.
it's rats chucking mud at pigs...
last time I looked - Mitchell still admitted to swearing at a policeman - which is summat Tories have told us you should be instantly arrested for...

Yes - I don't remember three independent inquiries when they lied about me. In fact, I was told there was no appeal.thebish wrote:dunno why people are so shocked... the police have always fitted people up - it's only cos it is a Tory MP this time that the world has stood up and taken notice - and that MPs have had a collective hissy fit..

Building and contents insurance.
Made a claim for bike theft earlier this year. I insure through the AA and have just received a renewal quote. They want nearly £1,000 and when I queried it they said of the sixteen firms they use only two would be prepared to insure me. I have checked the comparison websites and can get a combined policy for £250 pa. When I checked back with the AA (who I've been with for a number of years with no claims) they said there's nothing they can do.
Well feck 'em!

Here we go again!!! Our good friends in Europe show what decent outstanding members of the 'club' they are.
Listen Mr/Mrs Frenchie, they are in YOUR country and YOUR problem, either accept them or deport them!
If they are genuine asylum seekers it is not up to them to pick and choose which country they go to when they land in within Europes borders, they should be safe and processed by the host country, YOU.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
A while back I posted about issues I was having with neighbours and parking. The issues are ongoing and getting worse, 2 "men" were waiting for Mr89 last week, squaring up to him and threatening him, about parking! How pathetic! Anyway, the police have called today, said that something has to give/someone has to back down. Basically they are saying that they want us to park somewhere else, even though we are doing absolutely nothing wrong.
So, it would appear, if you want to get your own way, threaten, intimidate and harrass people and let their tyres down just for good measure.
I have nowhere else to park. Restrictions on the main road, no backstreet, no drive, no garage. The residents on the street we park on have drives and garages, which we don't obstruct, they just think it's "their street". Well it's not. Bastards.

I once had my tail lights smashed in Newcastle for daring to park across the road rather than on my side. Some people.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
I'm amazed the police have got involved in a 'domestic' where there is no law being broken ..... except for intimidation and threats which, if you've told them about they would be obliged to investigate.
It's easy to sit here and say "tell them to fo" even though you should. I wonder if they were acting 'off piste' and are mates of the neighbours ? If you are still up for the fight you should report the threats and ask a senior cop what that intervention was all about. I suspect they haven't any authority to intervene ti settle a local, legitimate parking matter.
There are a couple of ex cops on hete. Any advice guys ?

I'm not even sure who called the cops in this narrative.
