one of the best technical defenders in the division

Just saw these 2 articles, they're not bad.

http://globalpremiermanagement.com/2013 ... im-ream-2/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://americansoccernow.com/articles/l ... -at-bolton" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Not sure if I am convinced that Ream is one of the best center backs in the Championship. He may be the best passer though (did you see the assist on Backford's goals last match). Does not sound like he will be moving to midfield anytime soon. Interesting that Freedman mentions the work habits of Ream Mills and Pratley. That part at the end makes me think players like Mears and maybe Knight are the opposite.

It does sound like certain players just aren't DF's 'type' ...

“Some players you can improve but others just don’t have that mindset and you can’t change that.

Tim Ream and Darren Pratley are two that spring to mind that have worked so hard on their game and then taken their opportunity when it came along.

I will only put players back in the team if they are working hard on the training ground and if you see players sat on the bench for any great length of time then it is probably because they are not working hard enough.”
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

“He is really in top condition. In the afternoons when one or two of the lads will be on their way home, he is out there with the coaches working on his heading and on his technique.

“Don’t think he has just walked into the team and got lucky with a bit of form. He has worked hard to get to the position he’s in right now.
Good on him.
