Today I'm happy about......

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

I did 3 two hour mocks today (yes that's right 3) consecutively and 1 of which was totally off my own back. Anyhow I scored 84%,89% and 93% (the pass mark is 70%) so I reckon I am in a good position for my exam next week. My teacher has also commented on how well I am doing on the course especially given the majority of people on it are in their mid 20s and some of them are in their 40s (Ancient aren't they) and yet I come near the top of the class every time we do a mock.

Mind you having 3 mock exams a week (not including the ones I am doing off my own back) is getting bliddy boring.

Well, it goes to show that supporting BWFC puts you ahead of those southern softies.

Good point MW. I also like it when people on my course go on about Whitley and Slough being sh**h**es and I put them in there place by telling them about real sh**ho***. As I felt it was necessary to yesterday.
However one of the best things about the course has to be that all the students call each other nicknames and the teachers are more than happy to join in with that as well (being called nicknames/ calling people nicknames), So given most people on the course are from all over the south east(myself not included) we all call each other by the town were are from so I get called Horwich, then there is Gills(from Gillingham), Maidstone, Slough, Tilehurst, Sandhurst etc etc. In fact some of us don't even know each others real names.

She is going around her friends, as she usually does on a Saturday. If it wasent for the fact that she goes to friends most Saturdays I would find it impossible to go to football(which would probably give me no reason to get up every morning). I am very lucky that she has such a good friend(who she has known since the age of 3) and that her friends mum lets her come round most Saturdays so that I can go to footy. See life is not all bad :D .

New guitar strings and a fiddle with my set up! Feels like a brand new guitar,.........! Still trying to play 'Layla' acoustic tho'.

Marty from 'Martyzsongs' on youtube needs a national award. He's a diamond. Anyone struggling at whatever level with your playing, check him out.

New walking boots! My fourth pair of Meindl and my second Burma Pro GTX. Fit perfectly and comfy as you like straight out of the box.

I've always worn size 12's but on measuring today found I was a 13 and almost a 14

We have a pact together. I will look after them well and take them to some exciting places whilst they will keep me safe and dry and stop me falling from high places.

Here's to the next six years or more walking!

Marked shoe sizes, shirt sizes, suit sizes and, I assume, GG, dress sizes are just silly these days. Once upon a time if I was in the market for a new suit (off the peg, not bespoke) then no matter where I went I'd find that a 36R would fit me to perfection. Likewise with shoes (8½EE) and shirts (I can't remember, but they were marked in neck size and sleeve length). I didn't buy dresses in those days.

Should I head off tomorrow to buy, say, a new pair of shoes I can guarantee that a size to suit will be marked anywhere between 8 and 10 with the width indeterminate. It'd be lovely if manufacturers reverted to standard measurements. :(

Yeah, I've got from 9-11's size shoes in my cupboard, and shirts/T-shirts etc from M to XXL. Its all nonsense now.

I'm going to have to build an extension on the house to keep them in.
