I've never watched it. However, I have here a DVD of Mitchell & Webb live. It was one of those DVDs positioned by the checkout for about £3, yet still I feel had-over. I think I managed about 20 minutes of it before concluding that it's the un-funniest pot of spunk that I've ever attempted to watch.Harry Genshaw wrote:What shocks me is when someone derides Peep Show

Their double act sketch stuff can be a bit hit and miss like most in that genre, but that's pretty damning criticism Bruce! Peep show though is brilliantly written, particularly with regards to David Mitchell's character, who is cringy, pompous and believableBruce Rioja wrote:I've never watched it. it's hit and miss - as said above - like any sketch show - but, like peep-show you probably need more than 20mins to kind of get into the vibe of it - and understand the characters...
(maybe people would say the same to me about count arthur strong - but the problem is i can't physically manage to listen to more than 1minute of him without smashing the device on which he is being broadcast....)
all of which is not an attempt to persuade you either way - horses for courses - and you may say that if someone wants to be funny then they'd better be funny within 20mins... and you may be right... but - I for one, fine mitchell and webb - together and apart - eminently listenable-to - and i do like Mitchell's "rant" mode...

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Writing reports or X Factor followed by I'm a celebrity? Hmmm, tricky one. OBVIOUSLY I would choose reports but my brother and his girlfriend are coming over to watch with us so sadly they will have to be done another time...
