I'm sure there'd be a lot of change if we were to also have a "Wheater when he was knocking on the door for an England spot at Boro" and a "Beckford when he hit 30+ at Leeds" too!

We're obviously all going off what the players are like now, Holden has no chance of being the player he was in my opinion.

There are so many if's and but's to this, but on potential its hard to look past the first three of Holden, Lee and Mavies. The problem is, one looks like a perma-crock, the other like a mostly perma-crock, and the third has never been right since a devastating injury over two years ago. Is luck allowed to play a part in proceedings?

Beyond those three, I like the cut of Medo's jib, and (dare I even say it?) Tim Ream is starting to look like he earns his living playing football. And I wish to god that Beckford consistently looked like the player he can be. There's a promotion team in there somewhere, its whether it will come out is the problem.

Problem is that also describes a lot of other Championship teams too. The main thing that separates them all is consistency, and that's something our team have lacked for years now.

I can't remember what I said originally about Beckford. I'm chuffed to bits he's scoring now. If he's happy in a Wanderers shirt, happy with what Df's doing then I'm not going to complain

Medo is going to be integral I think to DF's counter attacking style game, be interesting to see how Holden would fit into this system later on or even Mavies
