See this is how the press mess with the minds of people, Freedman said:

"It's a bit fortunate the way it's come to him, but he's in the right areas, it's a good strikers goal."

What he wanted to say was:

That Beckford, he's some lucky c*nt!

We're a cattenaccio serie A team from the nineties. I bloody love it when it works. Think we need Moritz as the trequartista and we'll be truly teleported back to the Gazzeta hey days.

It really did work on Saturday, played really deep and had plently of men behind the ball but I can't remember a genuine chance created for them. In fact we had the best chances of the second half. One from a great ball by Moritz who atm the moment seems to be the only midfielder with some quality on the ball. I'm actually very comfortable when we're defending a 1-0, the problem for me lies to getting to that stage. We can't rely on howlers from keepers every week. That said the game will always open up in the second half and we'll get chances on the break.

And anyone know what happened to Almunia? It seemed like the Bolton away fans emotionally broke him, didn't look like he had a knock.

I'll ignore the rest of your puerile jibe. Go on, what did I say about Sordell's goal then? It clearly means more to you than it does me. I call each case on the way that I see it - that's consistency. Yet, only ever turning up on here to spread negativity is also consistent I suppose, I hope you're pleased with yourself. I'll give you that, but so what?
Oh, and don't flatter yourself re me having some kind of agenda with you, you,re simply an irritant. I believe I've been consistent in that view as well. ;)
You said that Sordell's goal against Sunderland was lucky, and got called out on it by someone who correctly said he positioned himself well, and yet when I said that Beckford's goal was lucky, you picked me up on it. You could ask 100 football fans which was the luckier goal and 100 would all agree that the luckier goal was Beckford's, so, no, you aren't consistent at all, you're a hypocrite.

Before you started this strange obsession with me, I thought you were a pretty decent poster but for whatever reason, you've followed me around for months making snide comments. Like I said to you before, if you disagreed with me on anything, I'd have been happy to debate the matter with you but you chose to be petulant instead. That doesn't bother me but anyone who has read the constant jibes will know what's going on. I don't constantly bicker with you or insult your opinion, nor was I abusive to you in the first place. If people think my opinion is wrong, I don't mind that at all, but I'd like to think that I've been respectful to those who disagree with me in a fair manner. The same clearly can't be said about you.

I think that if it works then defensive football can be great, I like many people on this forum prefer attacking football but I have no problem in watching us play 5-4-1 every game if we were to win every game 1-0.

Blimey. :D

If I thought that Sordell's goal was lucky (I can't even remember it, yet you seem to be able to even remember my opinion of it, so who's obsessed with who here, matey boy? (sidenote - I couldn't care two feck* about you, though I certainly have no problem with you as I've previously stated and as you've previously chosen to ignore, so wind it in)) and I praise Beckford for his alertness on Saturday, then, and you've already failed to grasp this concept, I'm consistently giving my appraisal of situations based on their individual merits. If you consider that to be hypocrisy then there's absolutely nothing I can do to help you with that. You keep banging on about consistency and to be fair you're certainly that - in a negative, repetitive and mind-numbingly tedious way. Again, if you consider your "consistency" to be a positive thing rather than a recurring negative then it isn't something that I can help you with either. On Saturday I asked you a question, remember? I asked you what you thought of our current form? And the most expansive answer you could give was, and I quote, "Our form is good". That was it, that was all you could possibly muster before piping up about how lucky our goal was. Brilliant. What a supporter to have on board you really are. What baffles me is how come you spend so much time and, presumably, money on such a negative pursuit? I don't think that I've been particularly disrespectful to you, have I? I think you're over-reacting, but hey, if the cap fits.....

Now then, I'm just off to ask 100 fans about the luckier goal. I trust that you can back your numbers up here?! ;)
May the bridges I burn light your way

Most on here don't have a problem with negativity. When it is never backed up with a flip of the coin when things are going good, then people start to tire and turn on certain posters (BL3 being the best example)

Certain negative posters say they wished to be proved wrong etc and would love nothing more bla de bla de bla... Yet when we win we barely get a line out of them. When we are losing we get feckin essay after essay on how shit we are and why it is all Dougie's fault.
