Itll be 12 years to the day since that game when we face them on sunday. I remember going as an 8 year old and learning a valuable life lesson that day
that Robbie Savage is a prick

Yeah, every time I find myself thinking I quite like the daft bastard nowadays, I find that to remind myself what a little cnut he was on the pitch. Warhurst barely even got him! Deano did though ha!
Don't think I celebrated a goal as much as Ricketts' there till Birmingham away in the cup!

Watching that I just wish someone had a done a proper job on Savage, made the red card a bit more worthwhile.

I see us getting battered
Teams with a big budget tend to win this league if managed by a manager with even a little ability
Shame we had Coyle
Just pleased Wigan had the useless b'stard

It'll be my first away game in a while. We usually get battered when I turn up away and I expect tomorrow to be no different. And with that I'll bid you all a good day.

May the bridges I burn light your way

Just watched that clip and it brought back the whole roller-coaster of emotions from that match. Exploding with rage at Savage and Riley, to sheer unadulterated joy at the equaliser!
What a game to pick to monitor the managers' heart rate, blood pressure and language:

Mike Riley, what a w*nker.
I don't like criticising match officials but in the Carling Cup Final he compounded his error in an interview.

I don't normally call people names, but if they truly deserve it....especially if they've made a carreer of it....then so be it.jaffka wrote:Mike Riley, what a w*nker.I don't like criticising match officials but in the Carling Cup Final he compounded his error in an interview.

I remember being at that game and thinking our chance had gone when Frandsen hit the post with his freekick. Glad to be wrong on that occasion.

For some reason, I remember it being a little cheeky back heel
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Re: Pun free Leicester thread
5 or 6 years ago I read an article about the Premiership Referee's Group. They were at an, apparently quite regular, team-building away day. They were jesting about who was doing well & who wasn't and it was clear there was quite a clique set in there.jaffka wrote:Mike Riley, what a w*nker.

They had tapes of matches ... focusing on refereeing decisions ... and would review the good and the bad and discuss decisions (all quite reasonable ... so far).
One of the discussions went into how some clubs and some managers were booed and jeered whenever they featured. They didn't say who or which, but it was pretty clear that Allardyce & Bolton were pretty prominent. Riley was the chief cheer-leader apparently.
They seemed pretty chuffed with themselves throughout this.
He really is a tit.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

What's everyone think the team will be tomorrow? With the loss of Danns & McNaughton we're forced into some changes.
Baptise to RB then Ream to LB and Knight remaining at CB with Mills, doesn't look to convincing to me!

I'd completely forgotten that Muzzy Izzet got sent off as well.malcd1 wrote: The little grey cells must be playing tricks on us both.
As I recall, that game set an attendance record for The Bok. Not sure if it still stands though.

I'd check that very carefully guys, because on the website it said that away ticket sales would cease at 14:00 yesterday.Annoyed Grunt wrote:I believe there is, with a £2 increase on the price....thebish wrote:Bruce Rioja wrote:It'll be my first away game in a while.
