What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Wife picked up a cheap copy of Jack Reacher in Asda today. Seen it once and Tom Cruise will never be the man, but it's a decent film and might well be tonight's offering.

Yes it's a reasonable film, but like you say it's a Tom Cruise action film based on a Jack Reacher novel.

Because movie takings are a lot higher with Cruise's name attached.

That's doubtless true, and they handled it well enough, A lot of people will see the movie without having a clue who Jack Reacher is. In Hollywood, anything's possible. I'd much sooner have seen somebody like a Dolph Lundgren or Schwartzwneger type in the role, but fair play it's a decent film.

Well, expect him around for a while. I read somewhere he bought the film rights to all Lee Chil'd's books so only he can play Reacher.
The Die-Hard films are absolutely ridiculous, that's why they're so sussessful. Time for Bruce Willis to call it a day now though.

now you've said that - might actually give that a go - have looked at it and decided not to in the past...

that's when I've got through the 8 series of 24 - not having seen any of it first time round I am at episode 13 of series 1 - could be quite a while yet! :D
It will go a lot quicker than you think. Definitely the kind of show that leaves you wanting more! Just make sure you've finished it before the new season starts in spring. They're filming it in London right now.

Those who are watching Breaking Bad for the first time, you have no idea how lucky you are.

I liked Lilyhammer, I'm a couple of episodes into to series 2 but am not hooked. The episodes where the mob guys came over to Norway killed it a bit for me, the acting was painful.

5 broken cameras. An Emmy winning film made by a Palestinian father who bought a camera to document his new sons life. What he actually starts to film is the break up of their village (& others) as the partition wall is built through their land and illegal settlements are allowed to spread.

The injustice of it all had me raging (1 or 2 scenes beggared belief) but much as I wanted to love the film, it never, for me, gets beyond an average documentary.

Watched it last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's put me right off getting a carapod though.

Where have you been? My 'go to' tv programme when there's bugger all else on. He's retired now and let's others take on the challenges. Think he may have had a heart attack otherwise.

Our Kid just called round, and when I said "This is fecking brilliant, I haven't seen it before'", his response was very similar to yours :D.

He was in at Townleys for an emergency op about 2 years ago and apparently became addicted to it whilst whiling away the hours in there.
