Is it? I've looked at that list and am not one bit shocked. Those items are pretty much what I'd expect

Knew those Starbucks/any posh coffees aren't very good for you. See people getting a few a day trying to impress others by walking around with them. Not impressing your heart sunshine.

Re: General Chit Chat
like the way it says - amount of sugar both natural and added...
you could add an apple, a banana, an orange and some grapes to the list and they'd all rank quite high up...

I note with interest that Tate & Lyle 1 kg bag of sugar isn't in that list.

hoboh would be properly shocked by that - it'd be just too much!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

we must all learn not to expect to be very shocked in a thread where Hoboh declares that something is shocking!

Just run this concept by me again, as I may have misunderstood...
But, and I think this is what you're saying, some people try to impress others by walking around with a branded cup of coffee?
2 quick questions here:
1) What kind of w*nker would do that?
2) If theres a shred of truth in this, I think our dear, demented friend hoboh may be just a tad less demented and perhaps closer to the truth than I'd like.
Please tell me I've misinterpreted.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

It's the Daily Mail. There's no sugar in any of them...
Re: General Chit Chat
Of course! Usually in the City, mid-to-senior management types who prefer to go to Starbucks rather than use the perfectly good in-office coffee shop or just the kettle. Wandering around with it subtly waving it about or making a note of placing it on the table. I'm not imagining this, promise!Lord Kangana wrote:Athers wrote:Knew those Starbucks/any posh coffees aren't very good for you. There's a good chance they've ordered something embarrassingly complicated involving caramel or vanilla as well.

The length of time it takes you to say your order is directly proportional to how much of a bell you are.

It's the first time I've seen it explained in simple laymans terms, i.e. teaspoons of sugar.
A can of coke equals the sugar most would take in 9 brews!! Christ no wonder there's so many fat kids out there.
I gave up sugar in coffee years ago figuring 2 spoonfulls in about 15 cups a day was bad and I never add salt to any food, actually feel a lot better for it
