Bogdan out for five weeks.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

I'm always very skeptical about people who are constantly earmarked as being 'the future' from a young age, despite the fact they've never really done anything to prove it on a consistent basis. Like Joe Root.

The fact Boggers has been ousted by someone who was thought to be just a mediocre Championship stopper just goes to show how ridiculous a decision it was jettisoning both Jussi and Al Habsi for his 'potential', but hey ho. Lonergan is actually doing a decent job, and to be fair he's still got time to improve himself.

Ousted? Bit harsh considering he only lost his place through injury.

Lonners himself (unfortunately) thinks that as soon as Bogdan is back, he's out of the team again.

Are we talking Joe Root in terms of domestic cricket or International cricket or of one-day cricket, twenty20 cricket or Test Match cricket?

Regarding jettisoning Jussi & Al Habsi, think of their wages (and the transfer fee received for the Omani) and mosey on over to 'The Debt' thread.

Who is the future if not those earmarked for it?

Cos he was shit

When he was 24

And Banks only made 20 appearances over 4 years cos we signed Matt Clarke when Jussi was injured

Cos banks was shite

But at least the equal of Jussi aged 24
I think it was the Blackburn game what finally made Sam lose patience with Banks.
If anybody doubts that Jussi had issues at 24, just consider this

Allardyce played Steve Banks ahead of him for a game against fcuking Challinors throws
And yet Jussi played most of the games from about 1998 onwards.

Lets have it right, Al Habsi was behind Jussi and didn't want to be

Selling him allowed us to buy NGog - just think where we might have been if we hadn't got him on board

Jussi couldn't wait to get away from the clueless one

How is he an amazing talent?! Steady on! Joe Hart, 6 months older, is an amazing talent. David De Gea, 3 years his junior, is a. Amazing talent. Boggers might end up a good keeper, but let's not get carried away!

I imagine the good Lord is quoting our manager, sarcastically.

Or maybe I just imagine that a lot... :D

Seen the goals briefly on SSN, not a day to be blaming a keeper. Dougie will use it as an excuse the restore his ginger stepchild though.

Eight shots on target, seven goals conceded. Either they suddenly discovered stunning accuracy or Lonners had a very very bad day at the office. Or both - but like I say, I expect Boggers will be back next game. I don't necessarily agree with it...

Finishing was good, he was badly exposed and looked fecking livid from the highlights I saw. Possibly could have dealt with the 7th better but he should not be carrying the can.

Only one I thought that Lonners should have done better with was the 7th. But yeah, the 7th. :hang:

It's a cup gave, so Bogdan would've been back in even if Reading finished 0-0
