Poor and cynical but not dangerous. Funny though!Worthy4England wrote:I sorta thought that, then I saw Vidic's again, and it was a poor tackle too, to be fair.LeverEnd wrote:Red and yellow wrong way round.Worthy4England wrote:Think Vidic's card probably saved Rafael...good to see the Redshite losing again.

Re: Tonight's Football
I thought they were both reds. Zero intent for the ball from Vidic. He wanted to smash the lad. So for me, it could even go down as violent conduct. If he stated on his feet and just booted him, it'd be red. Not sure what the difference is, as he certainly was trying to tackle the ball from him.

Re: Tonight's Football
Yeah I suppose, that late he can't really claim he's going for the ball. And an off the ball kick is red. The 2nd was 2 feet studs up, vidic effectively saved him from a red.boltonboris wrote:I thought they were both reds. Zero intent for the ball from Vidic. He wanted to smash the lad. That Lugano looks shite, I'd be well pissed off if I were Dawson. Not even on the bench again.

2-0 now. Most pointless game in cup history at a guess. Players on both teams don't even look arsed.Annoyed Grunt wrote:City have just gone 1 up.....3 minutes on the clock.....another long night ahead...

Re: Tonight's Football
I'm just looking for the double-figures humiliation. 25 mins to make it 10. Looks like a friendly though. And why's that little nice person Morrison got Ravel on his back? Cos 'ees special innit? Or perhaps a tribute to the great composer of the Bolero?

He strikes the ball well generally. But he is so slow. Both in terms of pace and thought.LeverEnd wrote:Just been saying the same. and he'd be our best player were he still here!BWFC_Insane wrote:Alonso really isn't very good!

This nice person commentating on Sky - has he got a red shirt on or is he just being sickeningly obsequious towards Gary Neville?

Re: Tonight's Football
This really shows how far Man U have to go. Being taken to extra time by a piss poor Sunderland side and huffing and puffing their way to an away goals victory....shocking.
