Dunno. Maybe Laudrup has recognised that if you play him in rather than twatting it up to him then you might have a decent striker on your hands. It certainly wouldn't surprise me to see N'Gog do well at Swansea.
He's got lots of talent NGog. But I fear the problem is between the ears....also I'm not sure he'll ever regularly get goals.....

I think these last few games have been the only real run of goals he has had for us. Think its 3 in 4 at the moment.

Dunno if this has already been mentioned, but according to Sky Sports Ngog is on 32k a week.

''Amazing! Out of nothing Bolton are level. A quick throw, Kevin Nolan keeps play alive in the box and finds Kevin Davies on the left who lashes a shot under Oliver Kahn.''

And that's the thing. He's not adaptable enough to play elsewhere. He's a striker and regardless of anything else, his remit is to get goals. He never will. Which is a shame.

Some players who offer less outside the box, seem to have a knack inside of it, by hook or by crook.

I think he offers enough outside the box when he's having a good day. But it just isn't often enough. And I don't think he really has a football brain. Beckford does, you can see by the runs he makes. NGog often gets in the way......

Whoever mentioned that one of Dougie's positives was that he got Nixon less stories clearly jinxed it, one less good point about Douglas

just so I can keep up with the party line, does this mean we don't need players experienced in the dark arts of the english championship to get us out of our current hole ?

what quote. This board has at various times put forward the ideas that we need players (and a potential new manager) who are experienced at this level and by the converse we have players left over from our PL days who just can't hack it in the hurly burly of the champ'ship. So just asking :)

This board? Did we? When did 'we' decide that? Someone once said it does not equal the board has a party line!

huh? the "party line"?? I'm struggling to think of anyone who has said that every player has to be experienced in the dark arts of the english championship.... taking a couple of players on trial doesn't change any party line that I am aware of...
