C Davies - not played since about August
Z Clough - too young
Odelusi - untried and more a winger
Walker and McGinley - unfit but worth a shot!!

I've heard there's an ugly George Clooney lookalike been hanging around the training ground in club shorts clapping manically and asking for a kickaround.

By the way we've been playing I get the impression he probably gets a semi-on at the idea of playing a team with no striker.

Well he considers Moritz to be a striker ... and let's not forget that Eagles ... who loves the club and doesn't want to go anywhere else and is a dear, dear friend of the manager ... was planned to be his second striker back in August.

So you could be more right than wrong there !!

Pearls of wisdom from the Oracle: We're waiting for the loan window to open to get McNaughton and Dawson back and the Hungerian striker and French winger are permanent deals. You heard it here first.....well slightly second ;)

McNaughton AND Dawson??? maybe there is hope for this doom-laden thread after all!!! (no doubt some folk will be very cross and agitated that dougie is breaking some kind of unspecified dougie-rule about never taking loanees - but I'd be happy enough with that!)

F*cking hell, Nixon's got you lot hooked like the local crack dealer.

Dawson, give me more Dawson, I need more Dawson. I'd do anything for some more Dawson. I'll even overturn all my principles.

Which Hungarian striker and French winger ??

.... and yes, if we get McNaughton and Dawson back I'll be reasonably pleased with tgat.

Mind you ... can Dawson possibly be match fit ?? Huh ... there. A bit of negative chucked in coz I'm like that.
