It's not really optimism - I meant 2-1 to them...

I reckon they'll get one in the first 10 mins of each half, we will be "reasonably organised whilst going nowhere" apart from the two abberations, one of which will be from a defensive error and the other from not picking a player up 25 yards out. We will get a consolation as they nod off defensively with 5 minutes left.
Wonder when we should write next week's?
Cheeky fecker...that's been heavily edited  although tbf you got most of it right preprandial...
My bit wasn't edited. :-)
Cheezus, I've just read it back... You haven't edited it either...

* yeah , again

coyle got his contract extended after he relegated us.

wasnt that long ago.

dont think it'll happen this time (the unwarranted contract extension) , the relegation i'm seriously waivering on, given our current plight. but the last guy got forever and a day , so i dont know what to think.

* yeah , you've even done it wrong here. if you're trying to call me thick, you put the sarcastic quote marks around the word "think" .

dont really know what the last sentence means , maybe i'm not reading it correctly , its english words but seems like one of them japanese t-shirts.

unless youre saying i'm slow. i'm sure there's easier ways of doing that.

i'd say something stereotypically sly about coyle here on purpose , but i am not sure how you'd react, my second go-to would be a 'megson out' comment , but i dont know what that'd do, it might melt the website.

not been on youtube yet , but i'm guessing that mr. freedman says "The Team" and similar instead of 'us' or 'we' at least three times in his post match interview.. if he does it.

getting tough now. jesus christ. i dont even know who we've got next.

Quite enjoyed that, and not in a self-schadenfreude way...

Nice to meet some TW types, some for the first time.

The game felt very far from one featuring a Premier League team against a League One side. If they're the second best team in this division it's very average. More like they are bog-standard big earners who will do very badly in the top flight... Except of course that Harry will Spend Large and replace them all. They can't even sell all their tickets for this weekend's crunch home game with Burnley. Hollowest. Promotion. Ever. (If they get it.)

Us? Didn't look fearful, let alone outclassed. Organised off the ball, but too hesitant on it. Once Sparky started running at them they looked more worried than us. Juke looks useful - not fast but determined - and will rival Cravies for hard work.

I'd've liked to see Moritz coming on rather than Lee, who created a few openings but blazed them into the top tier.

A word for White, who looked far from overawed even when faced with £26m sub Shaun Wright Phillips. Funny thing, football: sometimes it's a surprisingly level playing field.

Agree with a lot of that, performance better than the result. QPR: Expensively average. Played like a team who thought they were better than they were, whereas we played like a team who weren't as bad as we thought.

I thought we were that little bit of verve, arrogance, winning mentality, belief, whatever, short of turning them over.

Have to disagree on White though; I've been one to say blood the kids, but he looked like a youth team winger playing right back to me.

Good to meet several folks from here too. All very charming.

Except that Enoch.
