Tonight's Football

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

I can recall saying, when we were leaking 2 goals a game that no team managed 3 a game, so clearly we needed to tighten up. Might have to revise that thinking...
I can't remember seeing a team like this who score so many and are capable of tw@tting any other team.

They are a really good side.

I must be a fanboy, I like watching them. I also like watching the dmbs, p*ssed off because the blues are doing far better than them.
Just saw on SSN that they already have 68 league goals from 23 games. Last season they scored 66 in 38.

I think this is what Abramovitch wanted when he got into Chelsea. A sort of football version of the Barbarians.

Still an utterly thrilling winger short for me, but yes ... if you are going to chuck a £billion or so around you want to see stuff like this.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Chelsea have somehow, since their money came, managed to make a 5-0 win feel like 1-0 to the Arsenal. Even when they won titles, boring as fook.

The commentators were jizzing buckets when they beat Utd 3-0 the other weekend, but it was fundamentally functional and boring.

People keep saying he hasn't won owt, but he got the equivalent of us to a Champs League semi, and would have won the League with Madrid at basically any other point in history. He'll be better than the last twonk anyway, I reckon.
You should all just listen to me :D. Apart from the Isco bit.

Allarydce laughing at Mourinho after last night. This and the win at Spurs... he knows how to reap a win amongst all the other shit results they've had this year!

Gotta look at Mourinho and remember back to when his Inter team preferred to not have the ball at Camp Nou in case they ran with it, lost it and weren't in shape.

Mourinho scrabbling to keep a grip on his new 'hey i'm a nice guy' persona was piss-funny.

I miss that.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Didn't his Chelsea side do that at the start of the season when they went to Old Trafford?

Santander's players refused to play last night after not being paid for 4 months. Was live on Sky

There's a heartbreaking story about the keeper losing everything he has and a security guard sneaking him into the stadium every night to sleep in the medical room as he's homeless.

At that level, homeless, after 4 months. Really ?

They've had back to back relegations to a league which doesn't pay well. Maybe he was paid more higher up and hugely mortgaged up, but it's a quick reposession if it's just the 4 months! Pretty grim anyway.
