Yes.
DF, via the BN wrote:Right now we need to make sure we get one or two players at the back.
BN's live blog reckons we're now eyeing up right-backs, with the idea of playing Baptiste on the left.

Mears must have shat in DF's tea.
And farted when in bed with DF's wife.
The thing I can't figure out is how we can't even loan players who DF doesn't want (like Mears) out. If it's a loan they wouldn't have to cover 100% of the wages but they'd be contributing to the wages a bit, thus bringing in money until the contract wound down. Best of a bad job, surely. Can't that happen?

Ok, it has happened with Ngog and Davies, but there's quite a few.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

If we don't bring in a defender today i'm gonna punch a horse.
''Amazing! Out of nothing Bolton are level. A quick throw, Kevin Nolan keeps play alive in the box and finds Kevin Davies on the left who lashes a shot under Oliver Kahn.''

There is the loan deadline yet, so keep away from the poor gee-gees for a few weeks.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Don't want Mason back. Cravies might have his critics, but he did more in the first half against QPR than Mason did in his entire loan spell. Don't understand what Freedman see's in him.

Freedman was quoted today as saying he needs a left-back more than anything else, and that sometimes you have to let players go (Cravies) to bring others in. So Cravies goes to make way for a left-back; my question is, why didn't we just keep Cravies, forget all about Jutkiwietz and sign a left back earlier?

He also says we're 'reasonably okay up front', even though we only have one fit striker for tomorrow.

Trotter is a player I've always liked, but I fear what Freedman is gonna do with him

Exactly where I'm at. Its one thing bemoaning a lack of funds, its another destroying your budget by a thousand paper cuts.

Tends to be longer loans in the transfer window, the "loan window" is for shorter "emergency loans". I think the max is 3 months in the loan window so if we want anyone for the playoffs, or loan someone out for the rest of the season we need to do it now.

If only we had Dawson for that Blackpool game...

So even if we get Dawson in on loan, he could miss the crucial last few game/s anyway?

Quite frightening if we're 1) In the incredibly unlikely position of fighting for a play-off place 2) In the highly likely position of fighting for our lives against relegation. Don't fancy switching for the last couple.

Don't really get the Cravies love in. He's alright but is nothing more than a 'trier'. Mind you Wanderers fans and God loves a 'trier'
