Toothless. Burnley at Home.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Good half for the whites.

Dyche has more work to do to convince his side that they can win.

Providing we don't see any Duggie negativity, we will win this.

But I thought we wanted Danns, and Moritz? :conf:

Same old song about "goals that count" but we're giving them a game. The lack of killer goals must suely affect the team when they know they're playing decently. Get in there lads, you can do it. Wheater, Lukas and Eagles to score.... :oyea:

Would that be by the usual Jaffka 4-1? Only I was thinking of maybe putting a bet on. :-)

That was first half. Second half we need to defend our two goal advantage.

Heh!

Plan seems to be working, but with respect to the current midfield trio I do wonder how we'd fare with Moritz tucked in behind Juke (and between the wingers).

:D

My expectation and enthusiasm has been curtailed somewhat.

On this thread the big win tip was by gavlat2872
This will be the game that kick starts our season. The "big result" thats been brewing.

DF's masterplan will fall into place and a team mixed with youth and experience will click and dominate the game.

90 minutes of hard work and technical wizardy.

7-1 us.

COYWM!!!!
I just couldn't compete.

Good for us. That's three of the four teams around us losing (Donny aren't playing, they host Barnsley on Saturday).

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

All as was, no changes yet. Rodney has something to prove so he might be the hero....here we go.

Ohhhhhh. Bogdan has to make a one handed save as they nearly catch us out. We clear and....so do they. A good seesion of pressure from us and the ref's adopting a Kev attitude to Lukas and not being kind with free kicks. Chungy getting good comment and now.....we get one across the box but nobody reaches it. Rodney doesn't get a free but Ream sails one over that ends in a goalkick. Defence get some good comment but the Clarets attack. Now....Rodney, Eagles and...cleared. Spearing sets it off again and....headed clear. Eagles again and.....cleared again. Bad Ream throw and they visit but Boggers has it. Bit of a chat between the commentators and we're off again. Throw to them as everybody goes into "take a breath" mode. Crowd making some decent noise but they sally at us and Bogdan has to save. Again they come and....-t's 0-1..
