And now after all that rest and mothballing, he's injured. That was worth it!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Just think how bad we'd be without them!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Since Coyle jumped ship we have had 2 managers. Burnley have had 3, the 3rd being Dyche, who has a bunch of unfancied players in an automatic promotion spot despite selling his best strikers and having little money.
With the right appointment our decline doesn't have to be inevitable as some seem to think. We can't just accept the shit that's being served up right now.

He's been a sub three times, an unused sub twice and not even in the squad on one occasion. I can't even begin to put forward an argument against that, when it's so clearly bullsh*t. It's an incomprehensibly bad decision.
Probably because, he's lazy, shit, slow, lethargic and has the touch of an elephant on a trampoline.

The irony isn't lost on me that he picked up a 'sprinters injury'.

Can I have the gift receipt?

Burnley are in a different place though. They re-adjusted after coming down, re-assembled a cheaper and leaner squad and the expectations and pressures they play under are far less. That isn't an excuse but Dyche worked to a very different mandate there. And I'd wait and see how it ends there before getting giddy. Holloway was a similar type of flavour of the month at one point.

Kevin Davies said on the radio that Dyche worked the Burnley players till they were all vomiting pre-season. I wonder how our squad of little darlings would have reacted to that?

By also vomiting and subsequently being second in February?

Silly me. That wasn't the answer you wanted.

Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Dyche's disciplinarian style and old school training methods sounded remarkably similar to Megsons. And he's ginger.

Could have saved ourselves a packet.......

Old school with a bit of modern thinking, it works.
Modern thinking with no 'old school disipline and method' is hot air and pie in the sky!

No league wins this year.

If we were lower in the table, it would just mean we had been this bad for longer.

Can't cut and paste at the mo, just did a google search on championship form table and one had us second from bottom with Blackpoo bottom, this was from the last 8 games. :hang:

The current league table is enough for me to know we are sh*te though.

Well, quite. But being 21st would be worse than being 20th, and so on.

Form table, with other user-definable options, here:

It is grim and it all points to that Duggie is out of his depth and should be sacked.
