Den bones, Den bones, Den dry bones...
Relegation scrap. Away to Millwall, with Donny at home to Barnsley, and Charlton having three games in hand and only five points behind us if we lose...
Who's going to this one?

That's not a leopard!

By strange coincidence I'm in London on Saturday seeing a pal off before he goes travelling. Train gets in at 2pm. Fat Fecking Chance I'm nipping to the Den before the festivities start.
I foresee another nail in Doggie's coffin getting bashed into place.

Pondering the possibility, assuming I don't have damp ankles - the sandbags are in place and it's all gone a bit Dad's Army...
Think I saw somebody note that the train station's out of action, which won't help.

Yep no service form London Bridge so its either bus from Peckham or stroll through Bermondsey from Surrey Quays. Both are gong to be a nightmare. Luckily I have been surrounded by enough wannabee cockneys to be able to pull of a cockneys accent so I is gonna be fine innit blad.

Mind you don't go calling them cockneys or you will be in even more trouble.

if ream doesnt play , we'll win.
Re: Den bones, Den bones, Den dry bones...
I think we will lose 3-1 and stick by it, will it be our first time back there since some of our players were racially abused.

Re: Den bones, Den bones, Den dry bones...
Um as cockneys generally describes people from within listening distance of "the bow bells" and therefore technically calling Millwall cockneys is probably on a par with telling Mancs they are Scoucers of visa versa - not a good look.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Who, Millwall?bwfcdan94 wrote:Mind you don't go calling them cockneys or you will be in even more trouble.

If you do go Dan, be sure to tell everyone how much of a shithole it is whilst you're there.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Den bones, Den bones, Den dry bones...
Depends what way you look at it but I could say with some certainty that nobody in attendance at the match on Saturday will have seen them when they used to play north of the river - they are a south London club and have been since the relocated to the Den in 1910(not to be confused with the new Den) and as such nearly all of their support comes from South of the river so as such they are not Cockneys just like how we as Boltonians are not Manc's. This argument is all a bit silly anyhow as it is not leading to anything. Nice to see LK that you want to see me get my head kicked inAnnoyed Grunt wrote:Millwall are Cockneys......http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cockney#Cockney_area" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;bwfcdan94 wrote:Um as cockneys generally describes people from within listening distance of "the bow bells" and therefore technically calling Millwall cockneys is probably on a par with telling Mancs they are Scoucers of visa versa - not a good look.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Who, Millwall?bwfcdan94 wrote:Mind you don't go calling them cockneys or you will be in even more trouble.
